For me it’s Kiryu’s theme in LAD, not because of PTSD from the difficulty of the fight, but PTSD from how much this man has suffered, just wanting to be able to live a nice and peaceful life with his family, forced to throw it away just so that they can be safe. The countless friends and family he’s lost, the near-death experiences, etc. The song reminds me every time that Kiryu isn’t just “The Dragon of Dojima”, he’s still human, just like us.
Get Over It from Kiwami gives me the most PTSD. Doing the restaurant long battle, Lau Ka Long, and failing the car chase over and over on legend made me dislike it. Honorable mention to the drone racing themes in Judgment/Lost Judgment because of how grindy their completion was and how tough some races were.
The joji Kazama fight is a skill issue on your part dude. That theme is just so good. So peak. Now phase one of lau in 3 is absolute bs yes and it takes forever to get to the next phases. Yknow what I don’t remember his theme lemme go listen to that and I’ll post a reply saying how I felt
Listened to it again. And yeah I got a bit of ptsd just for the first phase. I do remember atleast in the other phases he’s really susceptible to grabbing
I think Get Them from yakuza 0 gave me PTSD. It was my first yakuza game after watching my dad play the older (released) ones when i was a kid, i decided to give it a go, went on easy and oh boy that did not help my chances much with mr. Shakedown. Seeing my health drop down so much after one hit scared me shitless. And now everytime i hear that song, it just sends me shivers. I guess warrior's bond also counts, contrary to most i actually tried beating the "unwinnable" amon fight in LAD 8 since i was actually matching his level at the time due to how much i tend to grind. It was the hardest fight i ever had in that game. The song slaps but amon freaking slapped kiryu even harder. Although i won but im always reminded of how much i struggled with that fight whenever that song played.
For me, dead run from yakuza 3 was the first thing I thought of when I saw "Top 5 Yakuza Songs That Trigger My PTSD". The chase sequences in yakuza 3 were traumatic with how many times I had to redo them 😭.
The only boss theme that used to scare me was Mr. shakedown because that was my first yakuza game. On my second play through, I wipe the floor with him. Also, I just want to play normal mode
True but getting good enough for u too actually do wall combos most players dont get good enough me personally I can do wall combos there fun as hell but most players aren't able too@@adoomuser2166
Hailstorm. I used to like it and then I had to hear every time I even remotely move in Saejima’s section, and now I despise it and I here it in my nightmares
My PTSD song is definitely the Gai Amon fight in gaiden, my kiryu was pretty much maxed out but I didn't have the best gear in the game, but I thought it would be fine, for reference I haven't been using agent style much unless I went on extreme heat or was going for the heat action that happens when you guard, anyway I got so frustrated fighting him over and over again, with him regenerating health, blowing me up, putting spikes and shit, fast forward a few days, I grinded the gear and went to fight him again, no luck, I ended up looking up a guide and I felt like the biggest idiot when i saw that people destroyed gai's drones before fighting him, I ended up beating him first try after that but fuck that boss
The fucking songs that are present all around the cabaret quests in yakuza 0 and kiwami 2, except the song when you dress up the hostess, I really like it for some reason. And also " the only way out" I listen it a lot when I'm extremly depressed to make myself cry easier ans feel better quicker
I absolutely love the dress up song. One of the best songs in the entire series. That unreleased track is also great. Zero just has so many great songs
Jingu's fight on ps2 was traumatizing I couldn't finish the game until I had one of my friends come over and help me with it, I remember during the second stage he ignored jingu's personal guards and went straight for him
For Faith, Majima's theme from Like a Dragon, The Mole theme from Judgment, Kiwami 1 Battle theme ('cause Majima Everywhere). D2A because it sounds....y'know, someone new won't know this comes from a Yakuza game
Trying to S rank the boss gauntlets in Y3 remastered made me get ptsd from the whole soundtrack not gonna lie.. Everytime I would fail it was either because of Lau Ka Long getting to his 2nd or 3rd phase (there's this incredibly very slow but reliable method to keep him in phase 1 spear while lowering his hp using grabs if I remember correctly), Majima not having any openings and knocking me down with his damn knife (and by the time I get pass him I remember I still have over half the boss roster remaining so I just have to reset), Joji tanking all my attacks while slowly lowering the health bar, or Mine dealing like catastrophic 75% of the health bar in like 3 full combos because he's simply just built different.. Do you got any idea what it's like seeing Kiryu violate Kanda in the QTE for over 15+ attempts..?? Never again touching Y3 remastered, hell no..
For me, Daejin Kim from the 2006 Yakuza 2 on the ps2 was the hardest, most annoying boss in the entire series. I don't remember if he had a unique theme or not.
@@source6893 nah he is right, even when you use heat actions and weapons which already take up a slot of only 9 inventory slots, those barely do any damage
@@source6893 after 100%ing yakuza 3 I can firmly tell you that there is practically no skill to the komaki parry, that shit works on nearly everything with easy timing the main problems with yakuza 3s combat stem from enemies 180 blocking nearly any combo, many enemies having complete immunity to grabs, most heat actions and weapons dealing almost no damage, and boss enemies blocking after you hit one attack. all of these issues culminate in a system where all you can do is spam either the parry or tiger drop depending on the enemy, and light attack the air 3 times and turn into a heavy for knockdowns or wall bounds for 5 minutes as you trickle down the health bar.
Yokohama Crackhouse because it plays at every single street corner in Yakuza 7.
Dun

Dundundun dun dun
Dundundun dundundun

Reason why Nishiki ps2 is so strong is that he never spent 10 years in the joint
Males sense
PS2 Nishiki is hard and fun, Kiwami Nishiki is a toddler who can't fight even a butterfly
@@jjpemfr8882 But Kiwami Nishiki has goofy dance so that’s win. Still can’t change the fact he lost his privilege saying funny thing😭
3:45. Also the Hiroshi Hayashi fight

10 years in the joint- BRING THAT SHIT, KAZUMA!!
Honorable mentions: Yakuza 7 Majima & Saejima fight, Yakuza 6 Destiny (sad banger), Yakuza 3 Mine's theme,
surprised the sad substory theme isnt on here, but makes sense its all battle music
@KadenKistune originally this was a top 10 and I had 3 sad substory songs on the list. They just can't stop using them
Especially that one from 0.

For Faith because of the horror of fighting the final boss.

I think the worst thing about Yakuza 3 combat isn't yhe blocking its just there no damage
Grab button and wall combos solve both those problems.

So basically Yakuza brainrot
For me, it has to be Ogre Has Reborn or sth sth like that in K1, as well as Lau Ka Long's battle cries.

Personally, i would put the sad substory song from 0, they reused this song so many times hearing it now is horrible.
Immediately disliked as soon as you said Yakuza 3 had bad combat. Aside from that, good video!
yakuza 3 would have been better if the solution to 90% of the enemies wasnt to just spam komaki parry and the remaining 10% wasnt to spam tiger drop
