Your weathering and just general construction/design is always top notch, seriously I wish TV and film production would learn from you or pick you up because your work is always stunning, thank you for sharing it with us, I hope you're well and healthy, awesome builds brother :)
Awesome build. I love the discussion of composition and how clearly illustrated it ishere. That really helps me understand mentions of composition in other videos in your channel. Well done. Love the scale.
22:48 Yes! The way that front hook clips into the belt as support -- that's the same weight-balancing design used in various parts of Africa (like in Namibia) and it's so comfortable! It's a steel-beaded neck piece which has a long front part that comes down and hooks under the belt, and helps support the weight (the average belt weighs several kilos because they're made of very thick leather and covered with steel beads and discs made of carved ostrich shell.) I have one, and when you're holding it in your hand, it feels like it would be too heavy to wear. But when you get the right length of neck piece, and you clip that under the belt, it's amazingly comfortable.
I'm in the midst of preparing for the big PostApoc-LARP I will be attending at the end of this month (Maybe we'll see each other there😁) and, frankly, I am kinda panicking about everything I still need to get done until then. But there's always time to sit back and relax a little with your videos.

I like the scale, could be used to measure the load ratio on your shoulders to hips.
for the zipper you can use wD40 Silicone or just plain wd40, the plain wd40 don't last as long.
Thanks! I didn't think of the silicone kind, that's a great idea.
How much is a custom job like this, approximately?
As a seamstress I think you did fine. It's not supposed to be perfect.
