    Nice job there. Crikey though, I thought it was going to be a "quick install" that looked like a major strip down to me lol.

    Why did you strip it down? Could you just remove the handle bar and add the extension bars?

    I wish ud do a video of u sitting on it or riding it. Trying to decide between 6 straight or 8 with pull back.

    Awesome. That's almost the same idea I am planning for mine.. do you think you could have fit an 8.5 inch straight riser with how long the wires are for the speedo gauge?

    nice modification!
    It 's the original clutch brake cables ?
    no need to change them?

    • @vlad_toto
      @vlad_toto  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Thanks! No need to change anything else besides the brake line, but if you have a non ABS model, you might get away with it also.

      @@vlad_toto I thought in the video you said 6.5”...

      Just want to make sure because I’m about to order the same 😬

      @@tommy8087 Sorry man, I think I was daydreaming when I typed back. They are indeed 6.5'' and you can get away with 8'' as well, but keep in mind that you need to change the brake line, especially if it is equipped with ABS. For non-ABS models, 10 inches will be the maximum rise including the handlebars.

    • @adamwatts8241
      @adamwatts8241 ปีที่แล้ว

      So you are saying no matter the rise, you must change the brake line when you do a 6.5 inch raise?

    Is that the stock wires to the speedometer? No extensions?? I wanna rise the bars on mine. But it seems like the wires are short.

    • @vlad_toto
      @vlad_toto  4 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Yup, stock cables, they are long enough to fit 12 inch bars. Look under the gas tank and take off the plastic trim, the cables are bunched up, so if you organize them properly, you will gain an extra 3 - 4 inches.

      @@vlad_toto Do you have to take the tank off to take off the plastic trim?
