Have a similar Westinghouse generator that wasn't getting any gas. Took everything apart very similar to this video and the little side jet was clogged. When pulling out the float I didn't notice the attached little needle valve and dropped it somewhere on my garage floor. I got super lucky I was able to find it later on. After reassembling everything back up the generator works perfectly :)

Thanks for showing this. I have the same generator with the same issue. Now, I can go fix it this weekend. Thank you.

There's a hole right above the idle jet that you can put your screwdriver to get to get the screw out without taking the stepper motor off. Also never start or shut off an inverter generator with anything plugged into it

Great video, the detail of r&r of the carb is just what I needed (I hope!). Question: the air filter was soaked with oil at the bottom of the breather box (where all the holes are). Any thoughts on why that would be? Thanks!

No, there should be no oil in that foam breather. Make sure the oil is not overfilled.

I have almost the same model except was 2250/1800 watt version. I could get it to run, but had no power and would not even run a 700 watt microwave. I ended up putting an ounce or two of Seafoam cleaner and it ran much better. I did find a gas station and bought non-ethanol gas/100 octane and now the thing is like new and sings. Ethanol 87 octane is not ideal for this generator.

Hi, I have an he same generator as you, I follow the steps you did and I did get the generator to start, it runs like a champ, but another issues issue as I start the generator it powers up the green light comes on for about a second or two then goes out and then the trouble light comes on and it just flashes the green light never comes back on, do you have any idea what I can do next, please help

I used Seafoam in the gas and it cleared up my power issues in minutes. Also using non-ethanol gas made a difference too.
