The rightwing entertainment networks are all blatantly lying about a boarder crisis, and the left wing media just reports what we have all known for decades that illegal boarder crossing is an issue with conservative states making policy that directly hurts migrants trying to seek asylum.
Not all media is bad, not all media is truth. Learns some critical thinking and how to verify sources, and you won't have to look like an idiot to all of us thinking that all media does a singular thing togeather like some sort of massive conspiracy. Think.

      how is this real journalism?
he isn't exactly coming at this from a neutral position, he isn't trying to give a neutral interpretation of what is happening.
he is clearly trying to downplay the significance of what is happening. he wants us to feel sorry and allow everyone to come here.
for example, he talks about how there was gang graffitti in the cell he was in and the migrants were pointing at the graffitti. andrew ends up making friends with these guys and he tells us they were "some of the most down to earth people".
60 minutes did a way better story on this situation then channel 5.
60 minutes came at completely unbiased.
Channel 5 has a clear political agenda and i don't think that makes for good journalism.

Which might be more valuable and digestable than an over produced piece from 60 minutes. It's a stepping stone into hardcore painfull stories and still qualifies as querilla shooting. They are literally making their jobs harder, and yeah, being a border patrol officer is already an ordeal. Does your job deal with people dying of hunger and thirst every day? Or potentially ready to shoot at you? Even Andrew sympathizes with them. I can’t stand authority either, but your comment is naive.

@@no1hypocrite Yeah the whole thing seems a bit reckless and if they just leave it at this video then it'd really be a useless waste. I really hope that Andrew and the rest actually do make something good out of it because I think there is one thing they could do.
I'm not a lawyer but the conditions there seem downright unconstitutional, and since they went through it first hand they'd have legal standing to sue if they'd want to. I imagine most people going through this situation would never have an opportunity to do something like that, and if the news crew did decide to sue then it would actually be something that could help rather than just making stuff for youtube.
