I am always happy to see someone enjoy that song as much as I do. Another Home Free song you might enjoy is Mary Did You Know. I had never heard that song before and it is now among my favorites.
One of my favorites of theirs. This was filmed in the Austrian Alps while they were touring there. Fun to see and hear Adam (beatboxer) sing. He rarely does. SO beautifully done. Everyone (except Chance) got a verse or two. The high you’re hearing is Austin (redhead) high tenor. Good one!!!
That is still my favorite version I have ever heard. The really high background sounds are the Beat boxer Adam Rupp! It took me a very long time to learn to pick him out when he is singing. He does a similar part in Listen to the Music. 🎶🥰. At Christmas time be sure to dig out their live performance from around 2013, Joy to the World from the Maranatha Concert. Rob goes full on gospel.
All five of the Home Free members in this song were raised in Christian families. Individually they are at various stages of faith, but always give due respect and honor to sacred songs, and recognize how their listeners are affected by them.
Filmed in the Austrian Alps, this is a lovely rendition of How Great Thou Art. Adam Rupp (beatboxer) sings the very high descant, and during Austins (tenor 1) lead, Tim (bass) sings the high riffs. The last note is double bass with both Chance and Tim. There is a phone recording of Home Free in Kearney, MO singing this during a thunder storm in a picnic pavilion after their show was canceled just 3 songs in. No mics, Just 5 guys singing. Tea with Travis has a live recording from front row of a show. Both of these are well worth listening to.
I love the way they included a line from "It is well with my soul" after the second chorus. It is an affirmation of faith after great personal tragedy. I fits in seamlessly.
This hymn definitely makes me emotional--Home Free's version is my very favorite version of all the many, many I have heard 😍 Besides the unbelievable 5-part harmony--and gorgeous backdrop of the Austrian Alps--getting to hear Adam Rupp's sweet tenor actually singing is a real treat ❣️🎼🥰🎶❤️ #HomeFree #AdamRuppSinging
I am old and have heard so many versions of this song in my lifetime, but I have to say that this is my favorite! All of their voices are beautiful, their harmonies are amazing and Adam Rupp's beautiful voice up high just puts it over the top.
I think this is one of the best versions of this song. Tim Foust's bass really carries the song. I found Home Free 3 years ago & love these 5 talented guys. Their harmonies are the best in the business. This is one of the few songs where you get to hear Adam Rupp's (beatboxer) sweet tenor voice during "It Is Well". And the scenery is awesome filmed in the beautiful Austrian Alps (my dad came from that area).
This is my all time favorite Home Free song. I first saw this video when I was recovering from a car accident. It took me the better part of a year to get back on my feet. Those wonderful Austrian Alps combined with the five of them singing in close harmonies sends shivers up the spine. Great reaction.
This was my introduction to Home Free ... I've been hooked ever since ! Just saw them live a few weeks ago and they're even better in person ! #HOMEFREE

My oldest daughter watched this video and recommended it to me. I loved Home Free's version, and needless to say, i became a home fry that day. How Great Thou Art has been a favorite of my family (my parents, aunts, uncles, brother, i), and we would get together on Sundays and sing gospel/hymns. It was also sung at my parents and grandparents funerals. The song is beautiful, Home Free did a fantastic job, and it was great to hear Adam sing. He has a very nice voice, which I think should be heard more often.
They do this so beautifully, love the harmonies in this and the scent hey picked for this fits so well!!❤❤❤ Their voices can be so angelic when they sing these types of songs!!👼 Glad you did this!!🔥🔥🔥
The best version I've heard of this song.❤ A song I grew up with because I come from a Christian family where my father and grandmother were pastors. My father, who had a beautiful voice, often sang this at home (in Dutch). Home Free sings this so beautifully in a great scenery that I let my mother (86) hear and show it a year ago. Now she wants to listen to it regularly and has suggested it to her church community to show it there. How Home Free sings it, you don't just hear it, you also feel it. And it's great that Adam Rupp also sings here.
They did a beautiful job with this song. And, it is always an extra special pleasure when we get to hear Adam's sweet tenor voice because it rarely happens. ( Though now I can usually tell when he's helped wirh the harmonies even when they don't show him. ) Thanks for the Home Free reactions.
Two of the things these guys are known for is their incredible blend--while each can stand out as needed, when they choose to blend, it's ONE chord, not five notes. The other thing they're famous for is putting their own little twists on pieces while still respecting the original. Welcome to the Home Fries.
My only sorrow about this song was that this version came out after my father passed away. I think he may have lost his faith somewhere along his journey, but he always loved the hymns he grew up with. I think he would have loved it and been at the piano in seconds recreating the chord structure.
HOME FREE Is: Tim Foust (Bass with a Five Octive Range) Adam Chance (Baritone) Rob Lundquist (Low Tenor) Austin Brown (High Tenor) Adam Rupp (Beatboxer Extraordinaire and Tenor) these guys are insanely talented.
They are not a christian band. Hymns and religious songs however have a big part in traditional a cappella, the same as christmas songs. It's just a part of the genre
Absolutely beautiful, love Home Free. Great reaction. 🎼🦋🎵❤️🎶🙏

Best rendition I have ever heard. Absolutely beautiful location ❤🎉

also, whn tim is singing lead im pretty sure chance is holding down the bass.
@@bluehorn50 yes. Chance pretty much does bass throughout- at points Tim adds a second bass harmony.
Love #HomeFree ❤

Great reaction to a beautifully sung classic hymn that has meaning for those in Christ.
This is the same setting in the Austrian Alps where they filmed the opening of the movie "The Sound of Music" with Julie Andrews.
Masterpiece. Love when Adam Rupp sings

They filmed this in Austria. They all have gorgeous voices. One of my favorites
When Adam isn't beatboxing, he joins in to create beautiful 5 part harmonies. His range may be even higher than Austin's.
This is just the most beautiful vocal harmonies ever!
This is so very beautiful. This is the most beautiful version I have ever heard. I get goosebumps every time I hear this. Love you reaction!
It’s a favorite!! Great reaction ❤

There is a live version of Sea Shanty Medley before an audience. Really good.
Georgia girl here.... stone mountain is glorious!!! This version by Home Free is as well....just heavenly ❤❤
Sure is. You have a beautiful state!
My favorite of hundreds of arrangements of this song I've heard!
Home Free can paint a vocal portrait like no other!

I love Home Free, they are my go to every day. Maybe you would like "Everyone Walking This Land" it has a message from Tim at the end 🇬🇧
They are in the Swiss Alps❤

Home Free is releasing a new video on Friday it’s the first video with their new high tenor Adam Bastien
My only sorrow about this song was that this version came out after my father passed away. I think he may have lost his faith somewhere along his journey, but he always loved the hymns he grew up with. I think he would have loved it and been at the piano in seconds recreating the chord structure.

Pentatonix and Jennifer Hudson had also done this song. You should check it out.
