Amazing! Gifts from God is what I call them! I'm a disabled nurse and this group helps me to stay strong and lifts my spirit! I appreciate the respect you give them. You are real ! So are these young men! Very authentic!
I'm a northerner from RI. This group turned me onto country music. i'm a music teacher and used them in my music appreciation class and even my SC High school loved them. I also used tim's bass voice to teach bass range!
Tim's voice totally vibrates the entire place. I was at a show in August and the venue had a tin roof that wanted to sing along with them. lol. Not only could you hear it vibrating in the looper they were using but it was also in real time. After the song was over Tim said "Well, on the bright side the structural integrity of this place is pretty good. Unfortunately we waited until it was full of people to test it."
It was the Sing Off that first introduced me to Home Free...they were amazing and I was hooked. As the years have gone by I have been more and more impressed with these guys. Simply Awesome!
As a person who has been to several of their concerts, I can tell you just how true it is. When he goes really , really deep, you get this pressure in you chest that feels like someone just sat on you. If you get the chance to go, go. You won't regret it. As far as this video, it was shot in the Alps of Austria by a drone, while they were touring over there. It wasn't planned, but after the guys witnessed just how beautiful those mountains were, they called their crew to come quickly, and shot this before they left. Thank you!
When I got to see them I swear I was in one of those old well-built stands forever buildings and the walls, floor, and chairs shook between him and Chance showing off their lower ranges.
I am so glad you did this one today, it soothes the soul. As for mean folks, you are a fantastic reactor and you should do what you want with your song choices. After all, if you are enjoying what you are doing, we are bound to enjoy it as well. Thanks for putting up with us.
I think that's my favorite Home Free cover....I've listened to it about 100 times, could listen to 100 more. And yes, they're incredible live!! Saw them 4yrs ago and it blew me away how they were even more amazing live. I've also seen Pentatonix live 3 times and they will forever be my favorite. Absolutely blow me away every time
YOU are correct! Tim's voice does rattle your seat, chest, body when he hits those low notes and their sound guys are excellent to make sure that happens. Likewise, Chance will also be able to do the same. I just went to my 4th concert on the 4th of November. Tremendous talent!!
I feel like everytime the harmonize "my soul" in this song, its like my breath catches a bit. This song is beautiful, no beatbox or gimmicks. Just a very well known song, done as well as they can. I am inspired
WOW, Just WOW! Thank you for sharing this, your talk before and after this amazing video and songs, Just WOW 😥 A Truly Awesome Man You Are! No Truer Words Spoken! 👍
This is one of the few times you will hear Adam Rupp (beat boxer) sing. He does sing occasionally but his voice is usually buried in the tenor harmonies. The whole song is well done, but that ending is awesome. They have an older song that just makes me smile, Everything Will Be Okay. It's not intense like this one is, but it makes you smile. Could you add that to your "react to later" list please? Thank you. ^_^
Or listen to their version of Johnny Cash's Ring of Fire. Yeah I know the official version is with Avi Kaplan of Pentatonix, but the bass is just amazing and worth listening to.
Thanks for reacting to this HF video! It gave me chills the first time I heard it!! Love the mashup of 2 hymns! I enjoy your positive reactions! You’ve got so many HF songs to hear, in lots of different genres. Try Finally Free; Your Man; In the Blood; Man of Constant Sorrow; Boondocks / Fishing in the Dark; Seven Bridges Road; Angels We Have Heard on High; God Bless the USA; My Church; Crazy Life; & Wake Me Up When It’s All Over! That will cover a variety of their songs. Can’t wait for your next reaction!!
They are all good singers and yes Tim can shake you in your seat. I was at their concert in an older theatre and Tim hit a low note and the plaster started flaking down from the ceiling, the guys were looking up at the ceiling concerned for a moment lol!
Sooo good live!..One concert, storm stopped the concert, they ran under a pavilion and those still there got to hear the boiiiz sing this without mics thru thunder, incredible memory😊

I saw them live just over a week ago. I thought I was having palpitations because my chest my chest was thumping... They were phenomenal. And honestly just as good live.
I just loved your reaction to this one. When Tim & Chance came in with the bass on the last note, your eyes got real big, & to me you looked like you could not believe what you just heard. It was a pleasure to watch. Thank you for doing this one!
You've only just begun to discover the talent of this group. Adam is one of the world's best beat boxers, and Tim's (bass) incredible range is unusual. Austin's voice is rare and powerful, Rob sings like an angel, and Chance, the newest member has an amazing voice. Have fun discovering them!
Loved watching your reaction to this wonderful incredibly arranged song. Your face said it all, didn't need much else. That's how I feel every time (dozens and dozens) I've watched this, heard them sing it live, etc. Never tire of what they can do. Thanks! (Oh, and by the way, agree that we all appreciate the talent, even when we don't agree on a style of music! Your taste is your own and many times we all agree, like on this one I think!) Thanks again! See you next time.
Thank you. Crying...I have avoided watching this one cuz it was my Dad's favorite song...he died in 2001, and I knew I'd bawl. Then, they had to throw in It Is Well With My Soul, which was another of his faves! Just gorgeous!
leeswhimsy thank you for sharing your story! That’s what this is all about, human connection ❤️ bless you. I am a painter/artist as well as musician, and my favorite to date is a painting my son and I painted on our wall, lyrics of “It Is Well” I’m blessed to know that someone else loves that song too!
That's why I have avoided Go rest high on that mountain! It makes me cry anytime I hear it for so many loved ones that have passed on. I just know their cover is phenomenal but I haven't been able to watch it.
I watched home free live in Ashland Kentucky last Wednesday I can’t even explain how amazing it was I’d recommend it to everyone and yes Tim foust shook the roof off of the place really incredible experience
Thank you for another Home Free reaction - I enjoyed it a lot. It's such a beautiful version of the hymn, and they couldn't have picked a better location for it.
Do what it takes to see a live show. I guarantee that you will never regret it. The videos are great but live is just unbelievable. Tim will make your soul vibrate. As for the haters? Ignore 'em. If you let it get to you it just makes them think they won. You are a much better person than any of them.
I love when that chorus came in, that was relaxing, reminded me of church when they sung that old gospel, they still do, but yeah, so peaceful, if they hit the baritone and bass right then it sounds great, these guys are decent
I can tell you from personal experience, that when you see Home Free live, you not only hear the melodies, but you FEEL the bass from Tim. You mentioned that someone said that his notes can "rattle the building", that's true, but it might be better said that his notes will rattle your chest. Truly something you must experience live to fully understand and appreciate.
" Oh Lord My God " , , when the Perfect music comes immediately , and pulls the tears of being in Agreement right out of you , lifting and touching your Soul , Wow ! Amen
I am so glad you are using full ear cover headphones. Because other react to these songs, and there is no way to truly heard the depth & pitch of their harmonies from a phone or laptop speaker. And; Yes, as someone who saw them perform live 5 times in 2019, I can confirm, when Tim hits those Lows, you can feel it. It vibrates the floor, your legs and your chest --- Sincerely, something you have to experience in person to really know it for yourself. In this song, you comment on the bass drop at then end ... notice how two of their voices go up slightly in pitch as Tim brings it down. That minor inflection balances the outro so the Bass doesn't overwhelm the other vocals. I actually hadn't heard that before watching your reaction, here. I've not only watched their video numerous times, I own the song on CD, and have played it countless times. In my opinion; This is the most flawless rendition of this song I've ever heard. Simply Astonishing. I do not know whether or not you've checked out their version of John Denver's, "Take Me Home (Country Roads)" th-cam.com/video/UwubhhECksM/w-d-xo.html It was the most requested song for them to cover. They spent 5 years choreographing the Harmonies to get it right. I can tell you; It is every bit as good as this song, "My Church" and "End of the Road":
I love listening to Home Free and Pentatonix and over my lifetime I have loved listening to many others. Being able to watch the videos is icing on the cake and watching your reaction is a plus. I am definitely a fan of yours.
I can’t believe anyone would post negative. Comments to your reactions. I have listened to numerous reactions by you, and you are one of my favorite reactors. You are courteous, well-spoken, and obviously knowledgeable in music. I’ll never figure out why people post to reactions they probably knew they weren’t going to like.
This is my first time watching one of your reactions and I really enjoyed it. I appreciated the intensity with which you listened, your expressions and the respect you showed both to the song and their performance. This is one of my favorite Home Free videos because it is such a perfect visualization of the song. I will be checking out more of your videos. You have a wonderful smooth voice that is great to listen to. And please continue to give your honest opinions.
Tim's low notes literally rattles your insides. You get a chance to see the live, go you will not be disappointed. Just as good live as in their videos . I have seen then 9 times, and there will be many more to come. Another amazing one to react to is Amazing Grace with Peter Hollens. Will blow you away! Love your stuff.
Oh you totally should! They're absolutely incredible live. I saw them in Tucson last fall, and it was one of the best experiences I've ever had. Not only the music, but they're really fun and funny, and great with the crowd.
Never listen to the haters... they just don't have anything better to do with their lives... I'm going to listen to this amazing band and thank u for posting and reacting
Thanks for your great Home Free reactions.I am truly enjoying them and your soothing pleasant voice and attitude! . if you get the chance, go see them.. they are still affordable! Enjoy their Christmas music.. and Auld Lang Syne.. a little early for a New Years song, but Home Free is enjoyable year round. Btw, i love your Unicorn poster behind you !
The best version of this song BEFORE Home Free was the Statler Brothers (oh gee, fifty years ago? I'm showing my age). But they did it with a whole orchestra behind them. I'm glad to see when people appreciate this.
Love Home Free, and this is one of my favorites... it always gives me chills. New to your channel and enjoy your reaction/analysis. looking forward to exploring more of your videos. Thanks much!
This is one of my favorites of theirs! I don’t know about Tim shaking the whole arena, but the first few rows definitely feel some major bass in their whole body!! I loved your reaction, especially the end when your eyes enlarged with those last couple of notes!!
TThis just moves the soul. This really is a masterpiece. :)Love your reactions and you are more than welcome to ALL your opinions. People need to chill. LOL -- am Loving your PTX/Superfruit reactions. Love this. I am sooo glad to see you do this one!
Love how soft and gentle your voice is. This is my first time on your channel, subscribing because I respect your message that we are all individuals with different tastes and that there is no need to be disrespectful and rude.
There are trolls out there, that actually hate reactors (no clue why), and go out of there way to disrupt a channel. Or they are narcissistic butts who want everyone to feel and do as they do. When the fandoms were small, we could monitor and keep them in line. However, as we grew, and reactor channels grew, it is impossible now. All I can say is the best reactors keep it real. Say what you feel from the heart. Of it moves you a certain way, then express it the way you know how. Dont let haters change who you are. There are hundreds of other channels to choose from. Ya can't please everyone, but your true fans will ride with you on this journey. Don't be afraid, we have your back. I really enjoy your reactions. You notice the small things and point them out. Keep being you.
Yes, this song is religious, Christian, all the bad things some people say, but you know what- Thank God for voices like these. Where else would it come from? Haters need to be quiet sometimes! Thank you Mike for being you.
I don't understand people saying unkind things to a reaction music videos. Reaction videos, by their nature, are subjective opinions. If you don't like it stop watching. I'm bothered by videos with long intros, folks that eat and drink while reacting (unless the subject is the food or drink), and silly electronically altered voices -- so I won't watch those. You, sir, do a good job. Thanks.
Love this version of this song by HomeFree and love the location they chose to shoot the video. The beautiful serene scenery went so well with the song and that church seemingly in the middle of nowhere. It was just a perfect video. Thanks for sharing. 💞😊
Indeed amazing, and just the sweetest guys. I don't know many artists that love their fans like they do, unless they're on Patreon with them, like Peter Hollens, who has worked with them on a few. He'll have a Halloween vid up pretty soon and has done amazing work covering Hobbit and LOTR type songs, like Misty Mountains. The version he did with Tim, omg...definitely do that before doing Mayday. I will drop other links when you do get around to other genres. Much more Home Free first though, pretty please :) I did sub
this is by far my favourite rendition of this song an play it on repeat whenever I'm having a bad day. God just speaks to me through this and settles the din. also you might like their Amazing Grace collab with Peter Hollens
It's all about the sound. Let the trolls be recognized for what they are. I love these guys. I don't attend church, but could listen to Elvis sing gospel music all darn day.
How Great Tho Art is originally a Swedish poem written 1885 "O Store Gud" by Carl Boberg and the inspiration came from Psalm 8. First translation was to German 1907.
Thank you so very much for not talking your way through the song as others do...Call me old-fashioned, but as a musician/singer myself, I don't need a play-by-play. And, I feel it's disrespectful to the Artists when people do that...it was so much more enjoyable and enlightening to tell by your face (and later commentary) how much and how deeply you were moved/impressed, etc. by this performance! Also, I found your review spot-on! Respect. Go Pats! ;)
If you want a nice feel good song by home free check out good old boy good time, its not their most serious or impressive song but it always puts me in a good mood
How'd ya like that emotion --- somehow they bring it out... just on their performance! It's what they do man. Somehow!!! The absolute best I've ever heard on this --- and I've heard some good ones!!! A LIVE show.......... Brother -- let me tell ya..... there is nothing -- NOTHING like it! It's not just vibration --- it hits ya!!! I understand your reaction --- my jaw dropped several times ===== LOL, now I just smile :).
These guys are pretty special! Their harmonies are always so tight, so clean, & so full & rich - every - time!! Those chords tho....❣️ And, they're just a bunch of great guys!! The kind you'd like to hang with. Always kind. Yes, their concerts are well worth checking out. They just get better with each one. They provide a full rounded entertainment show for all ages (5-95). Great music, laughs, & enthusiasm all the way thru. -- On a side note: I do hope you aren't getting those nasty comments from HF's Home Fries (fans). We pride ourselves in being kind to our reactors! Nobody should have to tolerate bad vibes like that!! I enjoy your reactions, so thx so much!!! 😊 Btw: for another gorgeous song, check out their "Go Rest High On That Mountain" th-cam.com/video/gxrblK9vfvQ/w-d-xo.html
You’ll have so much more HF to look forward to. Listen to Can’t Stop the Felling and you will find even more to be amazed about. They cover all the genres and their latest is Dive Bar Saints which features mainly original material (10 of 12) . With Helplessly Hoping, Mayday, Finally Free, I Can’t Outrun You, and so much more you truly know what it feels to be a Home Fry. Very nice reaction by the way.
Please keep doing your reaction videos. The sad truth of the times is there are so many people out there who do not know how to be happy, and they feel like they have a right to share their brokenness and meanness with others. I guess it's the old saying 'misery loves company.' But I really do enjoy your reactions; not just for the music you select but because I actually learn tidbits of interesting music info as well. Keep up the good work.
Every time I hear this, I repeat the lyrics along with the singers in prayer to God!
I have probably watched this video 50 times and the chills come every time. Just overwhelming.
Amazing! Gifts from God is what I call them! I'm a disabled nurse and this group helps me to stay strong and lifts my spirit! I appreciate the respect you give them. You are real ! So are these young men! Very authentic!
I seriously want this video played when I pass from this earth.... The words, harmony, sound, touch my soul. I know I would smile from beyond
jen I was listening to this song in the living room as my grandpa unexpectedly took his last breath in the bedroom.
This has to be one of the more beautiful and powerful version of this song i've ever heard!!
I'm a northerner from RI. This group turned me onto country music. i'm a music teacher and used them in my music appreciation class and even my SC High school loved them. I also used tim's bass voice to teach bass range!
Thank you for doing this one. They are great and this song has deep meaning to me. This was my mother’s favorite song.
Of all the times I have heard this song, this is the first time I actually connected with the full beauty of it.

Glorious in every sense .
Still floating .
Wow! Their harmonies! 1st times hearing anything from Home Free...and especially, on this classic! Thank you.
If you continue to listen to Home Free....you are in for quite a ride....they are just the greatest group ever! Check out their cover of My Church!
Even live they are phenomenal

I always say that you don't so much hear Tim as you feel him in the vibration of your sternum
When I got to see them I swear I was in one of those old well-built stands forever buildings and the walls, floor, and chairs shook between him and Chance showing off their lower ranges.
I love Home Free! Please do more.
I'm in total tears. So comforting and heart felt.
They take your breath! Yes Tim's notes, you "feel"!
Loved them💕💕
I am so glad you did this one today, it soothes the soul. As for mean folks, you are a fantastic reactor and you should do what you want with your song choices. After all, if you are enjoying what you are doing, we are bound to enjoy it as well. Thanks for putting up with us.

If you would like more of Tim's bass, listen to "Do You Hear What I Hear" Wonderful arrangement
Joseph Carney. Yeah I agree but I reckon he should react to Sold!
DEFINITELY "Do You Hear What I Hear" for Christmas!
Or listen to their version of Johnny Cash's Ring of Fire. Yeah I know the official version is with Avi Kaplan of Pentatonix, but the bass is just amazing and worth listening to.

Those are both my very favorites of this song, glorifying!!!
Tim blew out the subwoofer and killed power to the rest of a small festival they were performing at. You might like their "Butts Remix"
That song is awesome regardless of the vocalist cause it's real. How Great Thou hast been to me!
The best version of this song BEFORE Home Free was the Statler Brothers (oh gee, fifty years ago? I'm showing my age). But they did it with a whole orchestra behind them. I'm glad to see when people appreciate this.
That's correct. I've seen them twice and they were great each time.
I love this one. Who needs instruments! Another group did this one superbly eons ago, the Statler Brothers. You should look them up.
Love Home Free, and this is one of my favorites... it always gives me chills. New to your channel and enjoy your reaction/analysis. looking forward to exploring more of your videos. Thanks much!
I love that you don't interrupt! You are the best!
I do most of the time, otherwise my videos can get blocked, sorry
@@DramaSydETV Awe, well I'm sorry you don't get to talk through them if that is what you want to do. You do a wonderful job though, either way.
This is one of my favorites of theirs! I don’t know about Tim shaking the whole arena, but the first few rows definitely feel some major bass in their whole body!! I loved your reaction, especially the end when your eyes enlarged with those last couple of notes!!
Just checked your Home Free list... you're missing Peter Hollens featuring Home Free.... Amazing Grace!!
Yes... It's Amazing!!!!
Absolutely love this one form them.
React to brooks and Dunn “believe” it’s deep and reminds me of people from my past.
These guys are beyond just talented..there really are no words.
Awesome! Hallelujah!
Awesome
To hear some of their perfect five part harmony, try their covers of Helplessly Hoping and Auld Lang Syne.
Hone Free is my favorite right now. I just discovered them a few months back
Yes, this song is religious, Christian, all the bad things some people say, but you know what- Thank God for voices like these.
Thanks.
Had the same look on my face when I first heard this. Wouldn't mind seeing you do more of them.
Yeah that was beautiful!
this is by far my favourite rendition of this song an play it on repeat whenever I'm having a bad day. God just speaks to me through this and settles the din. also you might like their Amazing Grace collab with Peter Hollens
Thank You! So Peaceful.
It's all about the sound. Let the trolls be recognized for what they are. I love these guys. I don't attend church, but could listen to Elvis sing gospel music all darn day.
There is actually a video of Tim busting a speaker with his low notes..it's sooo cool
Respect. Go Pats! ;)
heavenly voices!!!!
So beautiful! Another great reaction.
WOW!!!!!Can I breathe now
If you want a nice feel good song by home free check out good old boy good time, its not their most serious or impressive song but it always puts me in a good mood
Loved this! Love Home Free and really enjoy your reactions to their awesome talent.
Btw: for another gorgeous song, check out their "Go Rest High On That Mountain" th-cam.com/video/gxrblK9vfvQ/w-d-xo.html
Boo to the haters. Just keep being you! I enjoy your reactions very much. Thank you for what you share.
You said it perfectly: Flawless
Home Free - Land of The Free - great
For some deep rich harmonies, you should check out their cover of, I Can't Outrun You
