Thanks for understanding, and I hope you can enjoy some stuff from a cool week I've had! - วิทยาศาสตร์และเทคโนโลยี
This dude still inspires me like he did way back in high school
"That's not that fast!" Oh, Matt Greiner...You naïve orange monarch butterfly of love
xD
Matt Grenier is the best man. What a guy
He is amazing teacher and player.
For sure! Thanks for watching!
Right on, bro!
Who the hell shows up late to a lesson from Matt?!
Corey Charles YESSS EMBEUHHHH
Lol that's why he put him in the view of the camera hahaha
....... A drummer
@@TheColorTheft68 bruh xD haha
Probably Read ~.~
Amazing how humble he is with that amount of talent
Matt greiner is seriously such an incredible drummer... I’ve been drumming for 15 years, and I feel like after all these years, I’m nowhere even close. He’s probably my most influential drummer, aside from portnoy, and barker. God bless you Greiner
His blast beats are insane he’s definitely inspired me
Really has a gift for motivating through teaching. A lot of drummers, particularly in metal, are awful at articulating most of what they write, let alone being able to communicate a wide array of lessons. Amazing drummer and teacher.
Thank you so much for recording and uploading this. I constantly search TH-cam for anyone that would upload his lessons. 👍🏻
You're welcome!
For YEARS I wanted a explanation/ breakdown on composure and you have it on here!
So thank you so much for this video!🤘🏼
He's a Great teacher
Jacolby Pesqueda no problem! I'm glad I had the opportunity to learn from him, and I'm glad he let me film and post it!
5 seconds in I added it to my favorites. Thanks for the upload.
Matt is my idol. He is such a stand up guy!! I saw ABR on tour at Starland last year and he walked up to the crowd after the show and handed me a stick!! Out of all the people he could have picked he chose me because I was playing air drums with my hands LOL
Why did I just get "goose bumps" while reading this ?
Best to call them "truth bumps."
Thanks for sharing !
Someone get Matt on drumeo
yes thats right.
cody strange yeh it will REK the other retards they're on there
how has this not happened yet?!
Matt needs to have his own mini series on drumeo. I Would buy that so fast!
the prefer a fuckin cooperdrummer who cant even hold sticks properly....
I got a one on one lesson with what was supposed to be a group on Warped tour but I was the only one to sign up!
He's so damn personable. God I love Matt!
I grabbed my practice pad and was like lets practice lmao
This is how I teach my students, ( girl drummers) once they learn their rudiments. Love to watch you play Matt. Thanks for all you do.
Loves it!
Everything he has said in this video is what my drum teacher would tell me back when I was 16.
This was super inspiring and really good stuff packed into it! Gonna practice now !
Thank you so much for uploading! He explains it very well and with patience so that everyone understands every bit of it. 😃
I met this guy guy the other other week in Manchester UK such a great guy and mad time for fans straight after the show

this is by far the best lesson I've ever seen! thank you so much to Matt and the recorder :)
Thanks so much for posting this! This is very helpful.
Thanks for posting this. Been drumming for more than a decade (self taught the first 4-5 years) and could never master double strokes (in general). This helps so much. You always have to keep learning!
God bless man!! Thank you for sharing!
I've been playing off and on for about 15 years. 6 years really diggin' into it and I've never seen someone break down 1/4 to 1/32 so easily. Great video.
this is so awesome. Thanks for posting
thank you for uploading this!
Thank you for including the exercises!!
This helped me a lot. Thank you so much!
Priceless lesson.
Wow! This is awesome!
You are great dude! This is a very 'hard to find' lesson video taught by the professional! Thank you very much! it helps a lot my friend!
I've taken two lessons with him and he's such a great teacher.
Indeed!
Thank you so much for this. Learned a lot from here...

Thanks for that. This lesson was super fun, and informative. :)
What a great lesson!!
Matt is seriously such a kind soul. Met him at Warped back in the day and got him to sign a drum head. He asked me why I wanted his autograph lmao. Hes super humble and kind.
Thank you so much for posting. I now realize I lack technique soon much. Matt is a freaking magician on the kit. Guy can talk while playing all that stuff simultaneously...
Thx for sharing!!!

sweet lesson matt is a great teacher!!
Such a talented dude and such a nice person
Wow thank you so much like all that I want to learn are finally in one package
This is fantastic.
Awesome instructional! Wish I were in a class with Matt not only cause he's the drummer from one of my favorite bands but mainly because he's so down to earth, a genius, amazing at explaining everything and making the students feel motivated and confident that they can learn, play and are capable of pretty much everything. I never really realized how great a teacher he is. Definitely taking notes and applying them. Thanks dude for posting the video and thanks Matt for being cool as sh*t! \m/
Love the homage to “As Blood Runs Black”. Fun video
Good Job! Keep up the good work!
It's such a great lesson.

Thank you for sharing this! I'm excited to start practicing more on my electric kit in my apartment! Matt is so fucking cool! Took a selfie with him when he was at the Rave in Milwaukee! Super pumped to meet him again even if it was brief!
Met him twice. Such an awesome dude!
Matt is a great teacher!
Thank you for this! I got a lesson with him at the New Orleans date but we went over mostly different stuff so this is cool to see!
Jesse Kahl bruh I missed him when he came to NOLA. Idk love to get lessons from him.
I would love lessons from Matt. Would never show up late!!!!!!!!!
Thanks for posting this!
-the future
I gained a bad habit of leading sometimes with my right foot and sometimes with my left foot. For constant strokes i lead with my left, rolls or singles I lead with my right (triplets as well). It was a bad habit I learned from being self taught but I started practicing to strengthen both and now I play with both feet leading. Gaining bad habits (especially for self-taught players like myself) can turn into something good and versatile. Just have to put in the work and practice.
Dude is so talented
I need this drum set up so bad!!! Hahah
Alrighty, I guess this is what I'll be doing until I get it down. This is great.
This has helped me a hell of a lot, thanks for uploading! definitely gonna take some of this info and utilise it into my drumming routine. I think I remember him mentioning what gear was used for that particular lesson, but could someone remind me what those drum heads were?
YOU ROCK
God bless Matt
A Genius.
Good dude that Matt Greiner
he make it look so easy
Too bad about the audio issues getting lower at teh last parts of the video, still amazing though. Thank you so much for uploading!

This is awesome! Does anybody know where I can get that worksheet he talked about in the beginning? That sounds so helpful.
Everything I have that he sent is linked in the description!
Christian Taylor awesome, thanks!
Thanks for asking that question, dude and thanks Jeremiah for answering it cause I've watched this video 3 times in a row and haven't clicked on the description. Lol!

Anybody know what kind of settings he uses on his pedals i know its all about technique but im looking for some diff opinions on settings
Can someone tell me which kit he is using in the video?
Anyone let me know what he does to make that kit so quiet?
I know the cymbals but is that a practice pad snare? What about kick and toms?
