Aaron Edgar is here today to provide you with a handful of double bass grooves that sound difficult but are actually super simple to play. The great thing is they're all based around a similar left foot pattern - allowing you to apply this to any groove you play by even using the hi hats as well. I love this guy...he’s obviously a very good drummer. Because I’m an old fart from the late ‘60’s, early ‘70’s, I’ve taught myself how to get those double-kick bass drum hits using a single bass. However I’m always open to learning and growing for my drumming skills. This looks like an awesome technique I want to learn.

Been wanting to learn how to play Bland Street Bloom by Sikth for a while now. Certain sections of that song make use of the left foot offbeat notes and these exercises should really help out with that!
