@@homesteadpilgrim Cant show pictures here, but if I could, id show you it has about 15 shots fired right through it..even on the connections,,, and still holds true. It's awesome..
I have found that using heavy duty metal chains and hardware is not needed. I use 3/8" and 1/2" standard hardness, cheap bolts, nuts, washers and wingnuts to hang my steel targets. I hang them using tarred bank line (#18 and/or #36). I have never shot a line, rarely breaks and when it does it is usually a bad knot. You can carry a lot of line and it can be used for other purposes as you are out on the range. Got tire of replacing chains and the bank line is very inexpensive. I hit the hardware every now and then but rarely break the hardware to where it fails to hold the target.
Huhhh, Really? Did you not see the video? The very beginning shows all the parts needed and he vey clearly explains the sizes and uses for each item. Take a screen shot and watch & listen to the vid. There’s your list. C’mon man, use your head. Concerned: if you didn’t know to do that, I’m concerned about you handling a firearm…seriously!
@@stevetuma2157 You think they will still ricochet back at shooter even tho he has the targets canted? How many yards should you say would be a safe distance given that they may come back? Curious bc I wanna do the same build.
I don't know what I like more the target build or the pistol platform great job on both.👍
Thanks! Yeah, my wife really likes the pistol platform, it is more stable for her vs. shooting on a hillside. Thanks for watching!
Very nice build Pilgrim. Thank you for sharing your idea. Gonna do the same.
Thanks, Michael. Good luck and have fun.
Nicely done, Pilgrim. Enjoyed a full-watch of the build and throwing lead down range 🎯🔫.
Cool. This pistol platform and now having steel targets makes shooting so convenient particularly for the Ms. Thanks for watching!
Good job! I have enjoyed this series!
Thanks, Lodge at Misty Hollow! The project was fun and now very useful. Your positive feedback is very much appreciated!
Yup.. that is EXACTLY how I built mine 7 yrs ago..works still..
It’s indestructible

Hi Winston! Great tip, thanks so much!
What’s “tarred bank line”? Is it cheaper and/or more of a benefit than chain?
Less music. But awesome
You didn’t like the dramatic ambience, LOL?
it would be alot easier to get pipe on the t fiting if he screwed it in first
Thanks for the tip
Wish you had a parts list I could just reference 😂
So sorry

How was cost not included in targets
Hi Steve, if I understand your question, I didn't include cost because the two steel targets were a gift and I did not pay for them.
Home Depot will cut your pipe for free. Thanks for the video!
You bet!
Lead only. Jackets can still come back at u. Too close and you’ll shoot your eye out
