Oh shit, here it is. The wait was worth it. Always kind of felt that they screwed us Jack-lovers in 3, even with _Citadel_. Anyway, good video, man. Liked the jumping between 2 and 3 throughout.
I never romanced Jack but after investing a lot into her character in ME2 I felt cheated when all I got in ME3 was a couple of cutscenes with her, no real character development like the others :'( Unless you bought The Citadel DLC but even then it was barely enough...
+REbones714 She's just not a very strong character to me if not romanced (yet she's easily one of my favourite characters). After romancing her then going through two following playthroughs without, it felt like there was no real development. You just get the loyalty mission, and that's about it. ME3 is when she gets any sort of development...but you don't really get to see it in-game. It's just there. _"I'm a biotic bitch with responsibilities now, Shepard!"_ _Citadel_ is the only time when you actually get anything if romanced. I got cheated out of the Varren scene (never popped up), but the tattoo scene is probably the second-strongest you'll ever get with her (ME2 pre-Suicide Mission being the top one, of course).
+The Foxhound in all honesty, she's a deep character if you romance her, so totally agree with you there, which is sad as she had so much to offer. there was a lot of things they could have done with the different romances, but I feel like they got lazy and removed a lot of things they had originally planned (Haestrom's sun is a prime example of this, as is Tali's real face and... gonna stop there or go in major rant xD)

The romances all have different strengths and weaknesses, but I would say the strongest ones in this franchise have some sort of barrier that keeps Shepard and whoever they're romancing apart. For Tali, that's her biology and loyalty to her people. Being in any kind of relationship is a serious risk to her health. It makes it interesting to watch her slowly acknowledge her feelings and put what she wants above the risk to her health and, later, prioritize staying with you above helping her people rebuild Rannoch. Thane is a dead man, one way or another. There is no happy ending to this story but there is a happy now. Loving someone even when you know it's doomed is kind of sweet in a way. And Jack... Her romance is all about breaking down that tough exterior. It's about peeling back her many layers. She's insane, short-tempered, and tough as hell. But as you get to know her, you see the weapon she was forced to become. The survivor that was born from all this pain. But most of all, you see the little girl crying in a cell by herself that she always has been. And her romance is all about, for once, having someone who's there for her and doesn't keep her around solely for her powers or what they can get out of her.

It'll leave you blue balled. just don't bother.. You'll feel like you're in a prison, watching the Guards eat macdonalds. All you'll get are those scenes you saw there. There's no more to it, that's the best you'll get with the DLC. It'll just make you angry that you wasted all that time investing into caring for a character that in the finale has no effect on your game play or the ending itself. No doubt Jack is a good Character and well designed. But lack luster in Me3. You'll watch all your Squad mates hooking up and you're like where the fuck is my "romance" option.

Oh my...that comparison with watching prison guards eat McDonald's is pretty spot on. That's pretty much how I felt when I carried on my relationship with Jack in ME3. It is pretty frustrating let me tell you. After a long day of killing monsters and Cerberus goons, I wanna go back to the Normandy and see some sort of interaction with Jack. Why can't you talk to her through the extranet like Hackett?? But since there's no way that's happening, I just go down to her old spot in Engineering and remember all the talk with did down there. It leaves a bitter-sweet, but mostly bitter taste in my mouth.

Thought she was just an extra character the devs through in with a bitchy attitude to fill out the cast so I wouldn’t even take her on missions. Second run through thought, screw it she’s a powerful bionic so I may as well run her in the squad. She was damn powerful so after that went, sure hell I’ll talk to her. That was the moment I realised she wasn’t what I originally thought she was. She actually is a rich, interesting character and you captured her perfectly throughout this entire video.

Nice cut. Jack has the selfishness of some real life early abused. In part 2 she tells you her ugly deeds and craves to be loved anyway. Hence the tears of self-pity. In part 3 you are "fair game" as she said in part 2. Shepard even says : "I'm game" in 3. She answers "God, you make the best mistakes." And let's you play her shore leave toy in the last days of your life. Blocking every other not harmful romance with people like Tisoni, who really watch your back. Turning himself in to the alliance was a good way for Shepards crew to be acceptable too. Maybe even an ex-con could become a teacher... finding a new family ( "Those kids are mine. MINE.") But she blames him for it. Always playing the victim card. Harder, if he is reluctant to refresh their relation ship. I like how she even tries to make you waste 75 bionic squad points, just to hide her and her cubs deeper behind the lines. Leaving the "bigger fights" to you and your real pals. Never even considering to prevent your death. Just preparing for her thrilling pain over the loss. Even in caring for others she can only care for herself. In the end, she's the one who was just making out. To me, she was the only romance option at all and the worst in 3. Hurt like hell. Just like she said in part 2. I thought I knew better then. But I knew jack. Last regards from your ass-tatoo, Jaquoline.
