Whenever I land now I almost always try to make sure a bin is nearby, this guarantees me at least a fighting chance off the drop. I still like to see what I am landing on though, this gives me a brief moment to take control of my game even before I hit the ground running
Better then entering a building and get no weapons on the floor. A good many floor loots are ammo or supplies only while a bin will give you a pistol to shoot people. But then again you miss out the Punching feast of teams not getting guns 😂
Floor loot all day. I'd rather see all my gun options without having to wait for a bin opening animations to see a p2020 or mozam a stack of ammo and a nade.
Are you opening a med bin or an assault bin first? If so you won’t necessarily get a gun. Only if it’s strictly a loot bin and you have not picked up a gun yet from the floor
just to also make sure, you don’t have any weapons in your inventory. if you pick up a gun off the floor then open your first bin, it won’t guarantee a weapon. so make sure you drop your weapon before opening the first one
I’ve dropped fragmentation and I’ve had times where I literally have to go through 3-4 buildings before even finding just one gun. Loot bins are definitely more consistent. But I’ve also had where the first one only has a P2020 and then the next like 7 have no guns in them
The only ones that aren’t a guarantee are the blue support bins. I used to land on them constantly with conduit, but after season 21 started anytime I try it hardly holds a weapon in it. I can loot 3 bins prior, open a support bin, and get a weapon but never on the first try anymore
So many times I’ve opened a bin for my teammate to take my “first free weapon” then I go around opening 9 more bins til I find a gun then they get mad at me for not helping in the fight when they took my weapon.
Imagine landing on bins and floor loot getting the floor loot stolen and opening your first bin to get all grenades or heals no weapons or just ammo and getting triple back shot while your team runs or hides 😂

Definitely not guaranteed to get a gun from 1st bin but I’m sure eventually they’ll figure out the spaghetti code and it’ll work right in 2 or 3 years

its especially good when playing an assault legend as u can get a gun with attachments instantly if u land on an assault bin
It does spawn a weapon in the bin, it spawns a p20, Mozambique and if your lucky rampage
The only except to this bin stuff is the support bins. They always have ammo/attachments and never a weapon in them.
You can see if theres a gun on floor most of the time before you land. Just land on the gun if its there and if not turn to the bin
every round I play the first boxes I open never have weapons in them since then only floor loot
Remember, the weapon is always on the left side of the loot bin.
