Games nowadays have been ruined because most video game developers have removed the best aspect of the gaming experience and that was splitscreen I think split screen should make a comeback as it did get you to play with friends and thats what gaming is all about, online on consoles is good but its not the same as dying and punching your sibling in the arm
I wish splitscreen and online campaign co-op made a comeback. LAN and splitscreen were big in the 90s and 2000s. The last game I remember to have online campaign co-op is Transformers: War for Cybertron in 2010. Sadly the sequels did not have that feature. Transformers: Devastation lacked multiplayer entirely and was the last AAA Transformers game before the deal between Activision and Hasbro expired in 2018. Now all we get are those obnoxious mobile games.

Alright ik im late but just in case i thought id share my research. What ive found is that if you are lucky you can get the game and console for about €20 or about $22

just what I was looking for ... but a doubt. when using the first person view in split screen mode, do you see the weapons or only a target appears? in mode for a player appear the weapons, that's why I ask. greetings and thanks.
I believe the first person view shows only the target reticle. I don't remember ever being able to see your weapon in first person view (at least on consoles), but I don't have the game handy to double check.
You can only see the weapon in 1st person when playing solo
0:37 when my ps2 at that menu its was laggy and i need to fast up to choose singleplayer and pick republic, rebels and empire very quick before it stuck and laggy, but when i, in game the game is completely no laggy and if i play mission, every cutscene go to very laggy and after the cutscene the game is works very clear and when i buy a character its just for a one time, its means when i save the game the character is gone for ever and i need to play it again and again to get credit to buy a character. I wonder why is this happen and now i left the game in 3 years because of that issues.

@@edog1916 Not sure I understand the question. There are always AI controlled friends/enemies no matter what mode you are in.

No, you do not need an internet connection while you are playing, but you may need to update the XBOX360 software itself to get the backwards compatibility to work. I don't remember if this game was backwards compatible from the start, or added in an update.
If you need an update and can't hook the 360 to the internet, Microsoft has some alternatives for you here: support.xbox.com/en-US/xbox-360/console/system-updates-info
P.S. online multiplayer support is long dead, so there aren't any (official) servers to hook up to anyway.

Nope, Splitscreen is a console exclusive
All For One it works just need controllers setup, and have the steam version so it can recognise newer controllers

YES, you can do both those things! Though please note this video was made on a Xbox360.
I must say that building a PC just to play this old game doesn't seem worth it, although it would probably be pretty cheap ;)
Moldy Crow Productions I want to build one for more than that reason. I dont need to pay online. Play with my friends etc. I had a american and european ps2 and i got a battlefront 2 on christmas or birthday. after months it did not work we bought another one. That one also broke. I have two ps2. Only one controller :(. I ave many games that work that is only for european ps2. I have only 3 games that work on the american ps2. There are many other reasons i want to build a pc. :)
In some random researching, I saw a few people complaining of difficulties with 4 player split-screen on OG xbox.
Unfortunately I only have two OG xbox controllers at present, so I cannot test it myself (hence our use of the 360 in this video). The game box, however, advertises 4 players.
Moldy Crow Productions That is cool. My friends and I wanted to play together, but we took turns intead. 2 players splitscreen etc :) Battlefront 2 is still expensive, but still has more content than Battlefront EA :P
