      What happened in their lives to make someone like this is the big question. For alot of them, trauma and hurt morphed Into bitterness and hate. Nobody is born with all these negative traits, they gather them overtime because too much negativity happened to alot of them at once or in a short space of time in their life that it became an endless ruminating cycle of mental anguish and hurt for which they never received closure or peace.

    It's the lack of responsibility that's most annoying. They surround themselves with like minded losers. They tell each other their stories. In these stories, the miserable person is usually "the victim." They may even delussionaly play "the hero." They themselves cause bad and even tragic things in their lives and blame others.

  • @gc4847
    @gc4847 3 ปีที่แล้ว +32

    I have to tread carefully with the mental disorder one. I am openly admitting to being schizophrenic for my (developing) brand. Usually (successful) schizophrenics hide their disease their whole career. I want to become an inspiration… a role model for others… that having a mental illness doesn’t mean one is doomed to all the crap that comes with it. That one can overcome and turn weakness into advantage.

  • @Brian-bk3fz
    @Brian-bk3fz 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    First I'm not writing this comment, to sound defeated or "Negative". Maybe "miserable " people don't want to be miserable. Maybe they just been wronged and never had a remedy to fix it. When that happens it's not easy when you have negative experiences. Disadvantages are a real thing. When you have disadvantages that you have to work through you have to be very creative. That pressure to be creative is very stressful, then it's downhill from there. Instead of their "friends" lifting them up , rebuilding their confidence and giving moral support , they just cut you off when you needed them the most. Horrible cycle

And then ultimately you pray the relationship just fades from existence without having to feel like a jerk. Its hard to get excited about man made nature when you grow up in real mountains. So i guess thats my problem.

    how is it my fault if i do the exact same job at the exact same place my dad did 35 years ago, that it only gets me one car and a studio instead of an entire house to myself 2 cars and a boat like it supposed to? and you expect a person to be HAPPY about that and not miserable? same effort same work same place should be same reward, not 75% less, that is bullshit, and not worth doing... it is stupid to work harder to get less, the entire point of working is to live, and make more, improve your life, you work to live not live to work.

    Responsibility is Questionable and all people experience one or two and sometimes all specifics of miserableness. If you have a plan and life and also a back-up plan, you might sidestep all aspects of being miserable.

    The internet is one of the best/worst things ever created. Stuff like this is very cool & most importantly informative. But there's so many miserable people all over the internet. They beef & debate on mindless topics like entertainment especially. A person that's happy or is trying to make themselves happy doesn't have time for that. This segment didn't disappoint me @ all. They covered everything I could think of.

    How about help rejecting complainers? These types of people always complain about something. Then when you offer perfectly logical suggestions, they say either that it will never work, that they're scared to do it, that they're too busy, or that they just don't want to do what you suggest. Do any of you deal with this kind of person? What do you say to them?

    I also second to that REALLY hate the victimhood. That 2nd grade teacher example has been a LEGIT excuse I have heard. I have someone say an ex friend put a curse on them, that they (same person) didn't get to go to good enough schools and her parents wouldn't sign the paper for her scholarship so that's why she is broke now.......stop it. ✋ C'mon now 😶

    How to Deal With a Negative Spouse
    Be empathetic to their situation.
    Have a strong form of support.
    Confront their spouse with compassion.
    Contain the negativity.
    Steer clear.
    Call him on his negativity.
    Get him to talk but set limits.
    Point out the good.

    Very cool vid. My guess is that miserable people won't watch it though (and they're the ones who should), meaning that they probably sense that the video will try to make them feel better -- that the content would be good for them. But they don't want that; they want to stay miserable -- like a drug addict wants to stay on drugs. They don't desire any help. And like happiness, being miserable is in the mind of the beholder, and in most cases no external source of self-awareness or advice can help those folks, sadly.
