well actually, the gate has sensors and when u walk thru the gate without tapping the card, the gate will close automatically. It also closes when u don't have enough balance on ur card

unfortunately, not yet, the closest station is bundaran HI for this one, however Kota / Mangga dua areas is linked with Commuter trains and Transjakarta, that i believe has improved so much since your last visit
