- 1st Impressions: Shopping In Phnom Penh, Cambodia
Join me on a big markets spree to 3 different Cambodia markets
I am in Phnom Penh, the capital of Cambodia. In this video we will visit 3 different markets in Cambodia's capital to get first impressions of Phnom Penh and to see what the markets are like and what the prices are like. We will start on a local market in Phnom Penh, but then also check out a popular touristy market as well as a night market. Let's see what items we can buy and how much money I have to spend.

You are very generous, Ken, I totally agree with you, if it’s not outrageous priced or you feel you are not being taken advantage of, it’s okay, and the most important and fun part is mingle with locals
Good video showing off how very friendly many of the locals are. If you don't feel you have been 'ripped off' then you haven't.
I was pleasantly surprised when you purchased the t shirt with name"Calvin". Which is my name. Anyways greetings from sunny northwestern Minnesota! Thank you so much for all your travel videos😊
Oh that's funny 😁 thanks for watching 🙏

Asian country you must to bargain 😊😊😊😊😊😊
Looks as if you got a nice short haircut....Very good Ken!
It's always interesting to join you for shopping sprees/walkabout at markets. Haha...curious to know what you wanna do with those faked US dollars 😂 Did you burn them for good luck? We, Chinese, usually burn these faked money for the dead as we believe they will have money to use in the afterworld. Well, guess it's not too expensive as you spent $17 for a few items. Thanks for sharing this coooool video, Ken. Great work as always.
That dome place has money exchangers that dont rip you off. They are hard to find
Dale philip hates Elephant pants 😊
The notes tat u bought is of no significant to u, Ken. 😅The Chinese burnt those notes to the dead at certain time of the year. Is of no significant to anyone except the Chinese unless u want to keep them as a souvenir😂I cant help laughing. 🙏 A nice walkabout at the market. 😍👍
2:10 Chinese people burned the fake money not for good luck, but hoping that the dead people could use those money to buy things in the heaven.
Where is your small black bag Ken? You use to carry that one, i remember.. 😊
Don't use it much anymore 😅
❤
U shouldn't carry fake money , or buy it from the seller. In air port because it could cause u trouble
Hahaha. They are joss money for passed ones in Chinese culture. This joss money is supposed to circulate in spiritual world. Chinese people would burn this joss paper money to ash in front of tombs or graves of their passed relatives on certain days. It's the way to transfer money from our world to spiritual world.
Ken, did you get a haircut without telling us?
The haircut was shown in the main channel video 🤣
The imitation money you bought is hell money, money you burn to transfer to someone in the afterlife especially in Chinese culture.
You gave him a difficult time over a dollar. lol..
I saw all of your indian videos. Trust me you visited all the wrong places. I will prepare itienary for you. Please do check out these places on you tube.
1. Kerala(Gods own planet
2. Meghalaya(North East)
3. Shimla
4. Spiti valley
5. Ladakh.
6.Andaman and Nicobar
7. Goa(Though its more crowded , but its a party place). All the places I mentioned are relaxing and great holiday destination. Delhi is litreally the worst place of india . Central and East India is not at all good. Mumbai is good, but still very crowded. Agra is bad too.
Also Jodhpur Rajasthan. India has every climate possible on world, from heavy snow, rainfall to deserts. 10% of indian landmass receive snow in winter.
Accent sounds very German.
A white guy walking around with a bag full of US Dollars, what can go wrong?
I have to ask. Why do you try to speak English to people who don’t understand you? And they don’t understand, you then speak English louder like they will understand. It baffles me. Just use the translator on your phone.🤦🏿♂️
So that he can accuse the locals for not speaking and understanding English.
They scam you bro 😢
