Stumbled on your channel looking for reviews of the Grand Champ and stuck around for this rib video. The color of those ribs is phenomenal! I miss my old Char Griller offset and I think I need to get myself a Grand Champ now for sure!
More good info Cj. Got my chargriller grand champ watching yours and Toney’s channel and I’m smoke and going maintained good temps and getting tons of compliments on the cook. Thanks a bunch keep it up.
Awesome looking ribs CJ! Dig that color! That Kosmos killer honey be rub is one of go to rubs. I too use 3 different rubs along with a bit of brown sugar. Great cook brother! Cheers!
Love the vids CJ! New sub here. Now that you have had your Grand Champ for a while would you recommend it to someone looking for a stick burner? I am seriously considering picking one up. 👍
Do you have a video of what you did, if anything, when you flipped the drip pan on the bottom? Did you drill holes? If so, what was the method to placement and size? I love your videos! If I am getting the XD smokin I run through one of your videos first even if I saw it 5 times already lol
@@CjsQue I flipped it and drilled some holes and holy crap it holds a consistent temp across the whole smoker now! Now I'll have confidence in doing a brisket.
Great video. I just bought a grand champ smoker and even with the vent almost all the way closed it still wants to run 350 or higher. Trying to get 225-250

I like your style. More often than not I’m using more than one rub. Looks good!
Appreciate it
Y’all need to start gettin’ yo ribs from Costco! That 3 pack comes with the membrane already off, just some news you can use ✌🏼😁
A new CJs Que video???? Yeahhhhhh. Ribs looked great. Kosmos Sticky Asain rib glaze is another great one.
Thanks brother!
Out of all smokers you got, which one would you prefer? For one.
Honestly, I’d want my kettle over anything. You can do the most with it.
Man I grabbed their honey chipotle rub just to try it and MAN that ish is good
great lookin ribs brotha
Thanks KC!
Great vid! No water pan? Just spraying to keep the moisture?
Yeah I keep watching and I didn’t feel like I needed the water pan. Turned out great.

Hey Wayne, sorry I missed this. Yes I would, it’s great for the backyard bbq’er.
Why is your ash catcher upside down
Baffle

Hey thanks! No I didn’t do anything when I flipped it. Probably should have. Just takes a bit more time to clean.

Thanks for checking it out.
Close both vents down or reduce the fuel
Using too much charcoal/wood
Awsome video bro. U need the char griller gravity. It will scar you for life. 😂
Hey thanks! I’ve been thinking about pulling that trigger.
Great looking ribs! Question..have you ever fully loaded ribs in that grill? How many slabs fit?
I haven’t. But I maxed it out with everything in one of my earlier videos. I would think it could hold 10-12 racks of not more. The pit is a beast.
Ok 😳
Can you put coals in the main barrel?
Yes you can. But I usually turn the main charcoal basket over and use it as a baffle on the fire.
Well obviously I’m new here. You look kind of familiar….hmmm…… Nice no wrap baby backs!
Hmmmm weird
Lost me at binder
Damn I think I could eat a rack of those raw
This guys accent is like half the reason why ppl are leaving California in droves lol
