Thank you James!… I find my pricing structure acts as a great filter. Those that do the eye-roll at my prices are typically more likely to not appreciate my craft and understand what it takes to deliver….and usually complain the most.

Thank you very much for sharing your ideas. Would you mind expanding a little more on how you come up with a cost model especially of your gear and how you come up with a “rental rate”? I do this on the side and give away a lot to my teams (the ones my son is on, not ones that hire me) but it would really help limiting to an at cost model I could explain and be consistent on. I would appreciate any more insight you have on it.

I’ve been shooting for about three years now and still “enjoy it” so I’m actually not looking to maximize my profits. My desire to get better still supersedes the money. I hope there’s a way to keep that so it doesn’t become “work”
