I don't think GameStop is really under-pricing anything. They follow a business strategy of pricing games according to their true desirability, and a quick return on investment. Most resellers base price on - what's the very most I hope to get for this, and I'll wait however long it takes until I get that. GameStop says - what's the most money I can get quickly from this. They don't cater to collector trends. They cater to historic sales trends and popularity. They might price a Mario RPG extra high, because they're certain it will sell quickly on the favorability alone, but they won't price a Xbox 360/PS3 game according to a new collecting trend, because the general public doesn't really care that much about those games. The truth is Wet isn't and never really was a popular game, it's just part of a niche trend right now, and that's not the sort of thing they want to use their retail space to fill up on. This is overall a good thing for the market IMO, as it help keeps ridiculous rising prices in check, when a huge power-seller like GameStop doesn't value things the same way that a niche market does. When there are alternatives like Gamestop, eBay no longer necessarily controls the market anymore, and that's good.
I randomly walked into a Walmart this morning around 715 AM to kill a little time before a nearby yard sale starts at 8 AM. I noticed at this particular location, they clearance-d a bunch of PS4 and PS5 games. All the games in the bottom shelf = $10. Some other titles were reduced to $15. 15 minutes later, I walked out with a copy of PS4 Demon Souls III The Fire Fades Edition for $10 (+ tax). Talking with the Walmart team member, she said some people "with businesses" (lol) bought a lot of games. On my way home, I dropped by another Walmart - found nothing clearance-d. Hit and miss.
Awesome brother you made me ask for 360 games at my local GameStop and they opened a drawer and I got the gold edition Resident Evil 5 for PlayStation 3 and Skate 3 for 360
