It’s nice to see a garment made with out using on overlocker, not everyone has one or can afford one, they have now become such a staple of sewing videos, I actually think it puts some people off starting to see which is such a shame.
You are inspirational Andrea. I am reasonably new to sewing clothes so videos like your are really helpful. Your instructions are so clear it gives me confidence I can get good results too. I cant wait to get sewing. Thanks xxxx
I really wanted to give you a big hug when you were telling us about Jason not being able to come home Andrea! Sending you big hugs anyway! Oooh those new fabrics....you are a temptress 😇😊
Thank you for this video, I’ve just cut out this pattern today. I looked at the instructions and was a bit baffled by the double-stitch, I’ll just do a zigzag like you. Thanks again.
Lovely, thank you your sew along was very helpful. I am a beginner and have yet to make a piece of clothing! Bags and such only. Your presentation is terrific and makes sense. Subscribed and liked... 🤗
That fabric is gorgeous. I've just bought the pattern and I'm going to trace it tomorrow and see if I can get it cut out ready to sew on Monday. Thank you so much for this great sew along. x
Fantastic! I'm so pleased I found you Andrea- this will be in my January plans but I think it's the other version I have cut out. I'm actually wearing one now ha! x
Wow! Andrea, I love it! And thank you for the detailed sew-along. Hopefully, my local haberdashery has some suitable material in stock so that I can try it in time for Christmas. Thank you so much and well done!🧡
I like the fabric for both tops..I like to make shells with a mock turtleneck for winter time..I like the extra warmth at my neck..great video..hope to start seeing again after the first of the year and surgery..stay well and safe..Merry Christmas yo uou snd Cerys..from Tennessee USA
@@Beyondthepinkdoor Thank you. I made the L , which should have been plenty big enough for my measurements. However, I am finding it a bit on the tight side. I think the problem is I used a fleece material, which does not have enough stretch. It is wearable but I’ll make some adjustments next time I make it. Thanks, once again, and please know that your videos are much appreciated
Not sure if the sizing I have cut the pattern for a size 12, however I am a high street ten. But I fit in between the sizes on the Somerset size chart. I have small shoulders if any one has any suggestions please x
