    Cool man...!
I been looking this past days for a tutorial like this, since the camera raw update, yours is the first one I found...!!!
Hope you got a lot of views in this video...
Maybe you should extend it, go more in depth on the profiles in general, show how to construct some more complex ones...
just a sugestion, its a good video, keep em coming...
    Thanks, have a great day...!

I will try to look into how to make a profile native in Lightroom. I do know if you use the method in the video then the profile will show in Lightroom as well.

    Hi Rob! Great video!
I have created my desired profile in Camera Raw, following these exact steps. I restart Lightroom, and I can’t find them at all under the profiles tab. I think it may be related to the fact that I moved the location of my Lightroom catalog from its default location? Any thoughts or experience with this? Thanks again.
    Scott

Scott patten With Finder active, select the Go Menu, hold down Option key, and Library will appear, click to open the Library folder. Library>Application Support>Adobe>CameraRaw>CameraProfiles

Rob Dunbar thanks Rob. While yes, that is where the profiles are, for some reason my newly created custom profiles do not live there. I save them, and they seem to vanish. I can’t find them anywhere in finder, never mind making Lightroom recognize where they are.
Is there a way you know of to point Lightroom to where they are saved? (Assuming I can figure out where these are going). Hopefully this makes sense.

This is so much simpler than creating LUTs in Photoshop, making a copy and then putting it into Lightroom (especially when there is no info as to how to put the LUT into Lightroom. You mentioned quickly how to use this method to install a LUT but I would love to see you actually show how to do that. Also I can do this with ACR because there is that copy button that we can hit with the Option key. But in Lightroom it seems we can only copy adjustments with the pulldown menu and there's no way to use an Option key to open a Profile rather than a Presets. Is there a way to do this in Lightroom rather than ACR?

You can load your LUT you created into Photoshop and save it as a profile to use the newly created profile (LUT) in ACR or Lightroom.
