And he doesn’t want the responsibility of having to take care of a special needs child “on his own” (every other weekend and for dinner on Wednesday’s lol) now they’ve split up. So the little (special) girl probably said “You’re not my daddy” when upset or something bc she’s confused about them splitting up and he just ran with it. Idk why the judge is saying it’s very clear he loved the child.

What gets me is how noticeable it is that there are no fathers in court standing alongside supporting their sons. More often than not it’s the mothers who are there.
If a male person can pregnant woman then he is man and should handle his affairs alone, it does not matter how old one is .
Most of those young potential fathers have no idea who their own fathers are. It's a cycle passed down generation to generation.
Lessons from this case:
1. When people come talking to you about your partner, don't believe them blindly. Do some research yourself. Their "common friend" was too much in their ears
2. Don't let your family members become the reason why you can't have a mature conversation with your partner alone.

I don't care what anyone else thinks. It's when women come in supporting these deadbeats (dead or alive) that kills me. This mom is taking up HIS responsibility. It's pretty unrealistic to expect her not to speak up.

Mr Brennan knew Ms Jackson had been sleeping around ( "on break" or whatever), that guy's input only exacerbated the existing situation. If she was so sure, she should've submitted to the test immediately and shut him up. But she didn't. Because.......? (Spoiler alert: She wasn't as sure as she seemed in court)

@@Remianenoh please he could simply have had it done at the hospital or even taken her to court and demand the courts make her submit to the testing IF he had ACTUALLY wanted the test done...you can even go through the child support office to do the same. They (court or child support office) would gladly take legal action to make her submit to the test. He suspected (I believe he knew due to some of his mismatch testimony) that was his baby hence why he didn't use legal recourse to demand a test or visits. Because the court would have made him liable for child support and he wouldn't be able to use not knowing as an excuse to "not be able to" see her. Please stop making excuses for willingly absent parents. They will make every excuse in the book before they will do for their own children.

This is unrelated to the PC case, but may I just say how beautiful that little girl is? I wish we could all be like disabled children. In all her pictures, she's smiling and happy, despite her limitations. I think it's a mindset all of us should have. Happiness is a choice. 🙂

I think he didn't want to be the father. He has all these excuses. He didn't need them to get a paternity test, he could have gotten one; even if he went to their local court house to have it court ordered. Why would a man become friends with a guy who tells him he's sleeping with his woman? It doesn't make sense. And, clearly if that guy said that, he was trying to get him out of the way. Usually it's not good to go on looks, but that sweet baby looks just like him.
He sounded very involved from the time of pregnancy, by what this mother said. You forgot his "excuses" like they kicked me out, and wouldn't let me see her. Yes, he should have pushed for a paternity test, how expensive are they, and can you get one just as easily trying to prove a child is yours, compared to a woman trying to make a man pay up? btw I thought he said the other guy and him were friends before, and he appreciated him being honest. Looks just like him, so does the friend he said "twin".
