According to Battle City Rules: Joey should have both Slifer and Ra. Since he beat both Yugi and Marik (Odion). So maybe a Battle City themed Duel where Joey has Slifer and Ra in his deck. That’s a crazy what if.

I would actually like to see Bakura's "Destiny Board" deck against Ishizu's deck. MAYBE do a Marik deck that focuses on Gravekeepers. I myself run a Gravekeeper burn deck that utilizes Lava Golem and Gravekeeper's Curse and I managed to beat an opponent without declaring a single attack.
I sometimes play a Harpies/Amazoness deck anytime I do these type of extremely casual/old school duels, and 'Dramatic Rescue' → Bouncing an Amazoness back to hand → Special Summon Harpie's Pet Dragon is one of my favorite combo because it's the best way to special summon the dragon in Mai's anime deck otherwise it's basically a brick.

My favorite series have been usually yugioh 5d era because of how the story went. It had a theme I feel like if privileged and other things and such you met noticed but one iconic duel I would like to see Yusie and Jack.

Pegasus versus the Infernity player guy from 5Ds, or the Iron Chain deck from the chief guard of 5Ds against Yugi's deck from the latest OG movie. Something from different Yugioh generations dueling one against the other would be fun for sure!
I will never understand why Joey even has Insect Queen and Mako's monsters, since he only used them once in the duel. I know he won them in Battle City, but I would have replaced those tribute monsters with something more playable and useful.

Not to mention that Joey's battle city deck has too many tribute monsters that you can't even summon without a tribute or two. The only useful monster I believe Joey did get in Battle City tournament was definitely Jinzo, since Jinzo negates all trap cards on the field.
i'm still hoping those 2 got together as if i remember correctly there was a reporter in the series i don't know if it was GX or 5Ds but someone did said to the girl are you Mr.Wheelers girl before the MC and the gang started to snatch her shine away as she did acted like Joey but as the attitude and looks like mai. But than again i guess it would be weird for mai to date a student but i'm sure she waited till he graduated.
Honestly these anime duels can go either way. The Heart of the Cards is so decisive with decks that are a mix of vanilla monsters and good staples. I'm rooting for Joey to win though.

Whoever made Joey's deck for this gave him an even worse handicap than his usual deck. The parasite was temporary and snuck in by Weevil, and Joey forgets fortress whale as soon as he gets it. It is funny that Joey got a "rare" monster with no ritual spell in the anime. Also I would like to see toons or an arc-v duel :)
This duel didn’t happen in the show, but I’d like to see Varis (Revolver) who used Rockets & the Borrels against Blue Angel who used Trickstars from Yugioh Vrains. Those 2 should’ve faced off because of what Varis did to Blue Angel in the show
Saw the video it was really interested, but I think the Joey Deck is a little different cause when he defeated Mako he was given Legendary Fisherman-Mako kept the Fortress Whale and Ritual I believe but it is entertaining to watch the duel......
