i remember beeing just 9 and going to the expo 2000 by train with my family, when we were there i was just so amazed and overwhelmed by all the new things surrounding me and this song is still so present in my head. easily one of the coolest days of my childhood.
Believe it or not, I was the Best Man at a wedding where this was played as the couples' first song. The marriage didn't last - but it was a fun party. (She was a German Nihilist. She believed in NOTHING!)
I visited the Expo 2000 3 times with my brand new Digital Camera. Insane, you didn't need to buy film cartridges anymore. Just push the trigger and nearly a second later the object was captured in crispy 1024x768 pixels. And only 14seconds later it was stored on the 32MB Smartmedia card. Today my Smartphone in my pocket takes Superhighspeed Videos in Full HD with almost 1000FPS. Great soundtrack, great event. I remember the Chinese pavilion which presented the 3 gorges dam plans. Now it is realized since years.

Experienced this live at the Oslo Opera house a few years back while on a bunch of codeine for a nasty cold. There were 3d glasses for the visuals behind the crew. Very melting experience.

Remember waiting in line at Planet of Vision (part of the EXPO2000) for 1,5 hours and we finally got inside to wait another hour... at least they were playing this track inside but in the end it wasnt worth the wait. Still every minute i spend at the EXPO2000 was worth it. It felt like human race has a bright future ahead of it. Did anyone ever dove into that waterhole? wish i could have tried it!

Man hat sich damals über den Werbespruch... eben diesem EXPO 2000 von Kraftwerk aufgeregt, weil damals wohl 200.000 Mark dafür bezahlt wurden. Und was soll ich sagen, die wurden zurecht bezahlt. denn es ist genial.
Es wurde viel mehr bezahlt - es war angeblich 200.000 Mark mehr als geplant dafür bezahlt und anfangs war die Expo auch ein vergleichsweise Misserfolg weil danals noch kaum euner in Deutschland wusste, was eine Weltausstellung ist und für was die Veranstaltung/der Trailer stehen! Erst später kamen deutlich mehr Menschen, aber es wurden tatsächlich große Verluste gemacht! Ich war aber z.b. auch da und fand es großartig!😊

expo 2000 was pretty decent....but expo´98 and expo´92 was even better! Amazing virtual reality pavillions and 3D movies! Amazing!
