When i was a student in Kyoto 2009 i went to see him perform at a club called "world". I loved techno and had seen the most at that point. But this but this guy... just blew my mind!
When Berlin Trax was fresh out, I was standing in a music store here in Berlin while one of the tracks was playing. After a few seconds I excitedly asked who that was and wanted to buy the CD. They only had the one (first day) but I was able to persuade them to sell it to me. The seller parted with it with a heavy heart. Unmatched to this day!
Ich stimme zu, das ist Perfektion! AKA. A banger! I have always thought that 'Takkyu Ishino' is the dogs bollocks! To this day, I still listen to 2 of his studio mixes from the 90s. I guess that they can't make music as good as this anymore? Cos they don't!
Takkyu San, this is Kenji from Hong Kong. I moved last year to UK. I love your Techno music never forget it. Hope you like my channel and share my UK life, hope one day I can see you, or 2025 Wire!!! Kenji

People use the word 'legitimately' too much these days.. Legitimately everything is legitimately now.. Legitimately this, legitimately that.. I legitimately doubt anything you people say is legitimately.. I bet you say legitimately even for things that you don't legitimately like.. Which loses the whole point and purpose of the word legitimately..
Absolute smasher back from an era when techno would move my feet instead of bore me to death. Time flies... About time this video was uploaded in decent quality. Now would you please upload the music video to Alter Ego's Betty Ford in HD please?
If you think thats true, youve just been listening to only most popular artists who are there for money and not music. There is a lot of great techno nowadays, you just need to dig in a little
@@InternetExplorerer True, there are still quite alot of good techno artists but the majority of them are older people back from that 90's era anyway who have had time to develop their style. The new players have quite a different style to the older artists i feel, not necessarily better or worse just not preferable for some people
@@vmbo Well you're not completely wrong considering today's techno mostly sucks, but right now golden age style techno is coming back big time (at least here in south germany). Check out a recent Felix Kröcher live set for example .
@@chrislaivier8459 I don't agree with that. I was on a festival with Takkyu Ishino and Ken Ishii only a few years ago in Taiwan, it was awesome. Both still make music. There is also a ton of new great music out there(not just techno, but also other electronic genres). I'm 35, but a statement like that just makes you seem like an old grumpy man.
Approx. 15 years later and still as fresh as if it were made yesterday. That are some mad producer skills.
This actually came out in 1998
@@lestat305 Thx. Evermore banger it is.
