Forgive my ignorance, this looks so simple and thank you for explaining. Is there a benefit of this over adding non steam deck game in desktop mode and having to use proton etc etc?
I honestly don't know if there is a benefit one way or another. I just think this is a much quicker and more efficient way to get multiple launchers installed quickly.
How do i install launchers not on the list? I want to play a game with its own launcher but i think i route like this is the only way without playing in desktop mode.
Unfortunately it got delisted about 1-2 weeks ago. I'm not sure of the specific details, but there's some drama/conflict going on between the Decky team and the developer of Nonsteamlaunchers, which led to it getting delisted.
Is it at the launcher, or in game? Ive had issues before with the launcher and have to utilize the touch screen since the controller doesn't work. As for outlaws, if wasn't working on steam OS (at least at launch), so I'm not sure if you'd be able to play on the deck
So I personally haven't used GOG or Epic on my Steam Deck, but I have used battlenet, and when I was installing a game (World of Warcraft), it asks for an installation location. I just chose my SD card for that part (I already had a folder created). Hopefully it's the same process for the other launchers?
How many times have you launched the game? In my experience, I have to launch the game more than once to get it to appear for the first time. OR the add-ons folder may not be in the correct location via installation?
Thank you so much! I finally got this working thanks to your video! 😀
Woohoo!!! Glad to hear it!

I'm not sure if it would be possible via this route, especially due to, from what I read, this got delisted about a month ago :/
@jaredconyers darn it ok thank you.
Nonsteamdeck launcher is not under the decky store front what happened?

Bnet epic gog never show up after saying installed. Xbox worked
Interesting. I only tried with Bnet and Ubisoft, but I'll check out epic and GOG and see if I run into any issues.
my addons folder does not appear in game, do you know why?
