Complete different scenarios. U izzy haters come up with the crazy pretexts to why u hate him instead of just admitting u hate him first then make up the reasons after
What tripped me out is how he tried to defend his boring performances like Romero, Vettori 2, Cannonier. Went all out with the prefight trash talk/walkouts to point fight for 5 rounds.
@rotwotimes_jones Vettori and Cannonier were def point fighting, more entertaining than lay spray GSP type of point fighting. Romero is to blame for that boring performance, he didn't engage and ran.
This doesn't even scratch the surface as to why he is so disliked. He is the very definition of able to dish it out but can't take it. For example around his Vettori rematch, he burped in Vettori's face during a face off, he tapped him on the ass during the fight, and even pointed at laughed at him after the final bell (after 5 strong rounds). After the fight they shook hands and Vettori said he thought he won the fight and the first thing Adesanya said in this post-fight interview was "this is martial arts, show some respect". The irony of that one. Talked a huge game against Romero and Cannonier. "I will make him crumble like the twin towers", "I will be the first man to finish him", "I don't want to just show up, I want to show off my skilss and put on a classic for the fans", etc. Then proceeds to have the most boring fight of the year. In the post fight interview always says it is his opponent's fault that the fight was boring. Whittaker was born in NZ and moved to Australia as a child, Adesanya called him a fake Kiwi and called his heritage into question. Adesanya was born in Nigeria and moved to NZ as a child, Dricus called him a fake African champion and Izzy went ballistic. Dude literally jerked his dog's penis on camera, has the cringiest overprepared quotes, and gets angry at the smallest shit. He is just a highly dislikable person.
The fact you think Vettori had a good second fight and that him saying he won isn't utterly delusional and all the ridicule that came his way as a result was undeserved tells me everything. You guys will champion just anyone that fights him no matter what. Just like all the new "Pereira fans" that don't know a thing about him besides that he's 2-0 against Izzy in kickboxing.
I literally said that Izzy had 5 strong rounds, what are you even talking about? Izzy loves playing the victim, especially when he is not one, andhis fans take up after him lol
Don't blame me, the way you're defending Vettori made it look like you were just as delusional as him and would think he had "5 strong rounds". Vettori deserved everything he got. If Izzy came out of the Strickland fight and said "nah I won that" you couldn't shit on him enough to satisfy yourself. But the roles are reversed and every fighter Izzy is up against suddenly becomes a saint that can do and say no wrong in the eyes of you haters. Something I think is weird is how the reaction to the right hands that initially stun Pereira in both fights look SO similar. He bends over and sinks then slowly comes back up in almost exactly the same way both times. Except in the second fight Izzy didn't let him off the hook and hit him again with the right hand and then the left hook as he was falling down.
i don't think it's that odd clearly Pereira is huge for middleweight and so that certainly effects his ability to take a punch as well as he would normally after making weight. Izzy caught him in the first with that punch and you can bet him and his team went over that video tons and you can clearly see in the rematch he tried that same combination over and over until he managed to get it to land as he knew it worked for him the first time around.

One thing is getting KO and you can fix the mistakes. But to get completely dominated for 5 rounds take away all your best shots walked you down and making you afraid to engage cause you know he can drop you is a different thing. Nobody knows what mental toll it took on Izzy. It push him to take a long layoff to reconsider everything. His style was useless, he no longer the style bender because he couldn’t change his style to beat a simple style like Strickland. I doubt Izzy will win on the rematch, his dark secrets exposed and more can be exposed on the rematch probably the reason why his taking the layoff till Strickland gets beat. Izzy broke right then. You can almost see his soul leave his body at the press conference how his face tightens more and more and he shifts his weight in discomfort. It's just a beautiful trainwreck to watch in a way, because as you said: had he beat Strickland, he would've humiliated him without a doubt. Dude has a lot of growing up and therapy to do.
@@RealMrSmile Pereira trained Sean Strickland, if anyone knows about how to counter Izzy's striking it's the guy who has a 3-1 record with him and it worked. But then he got 1 win vs Alex and thinks he’s back to the top, which he very well could’ve have been, only to say it’s settled when it clearly wasn’t and Alex still had his number. Then he lost it to Strickland in what appeared to be an amateur level fight. He got lost in his lies thinking he was the best. He searched for greatness and instead found delusional success. The belts and title defenses don’t make you the goat, the fights you put on and the love from the fans do. He always says fuck the belt, he wants his legacy to be great but he got so lost. You can’t obtain greatness without risks. He needs to put on spectacles worthy of Anderson Silva entertainment if he wants to reach greatness. I don’t understand why Izzy gets so triggered & can’t differentiate between ethnicity and nationality. Yes you’re ethnically African, nothing will change that. As weird and bad as it has been for Israel lately I personally think it's too early to call all of this a "downfall" compared to other fighters But I do see him bouncing back
I would call it a downfall. He’s never getting his popularity or hype back, and even worst, is retroactively hurting his legacy. People are looking back at his previous figths and shenanigans, and are concluding that he was always this creepy weirdo who has full of himself, lived to disrespect others, and switched countries as much as genders. On the contrast, Alex Pereira is getting an honest following, and Sean Strickland is now the new People’s Champ and actual Champ in an era where everything is censored. And Izzy isn’t owning up to anything, he’s running away. He’s never coming to the top again
Weird is a pretty mild way of putting it. You really think he's going to bounce back from being an animal molester? People aren't going to just forget about that
@@RealMrSmile I would disagree. Alex has his own show, he’s a 5 time Glory Kickboxing World Champion, he brought a lot of his fans from there. But he also has his own shift that is way better. He has a likable personality, being dead stoic and really funny by accident. He also has a good bromance with Glover, a nice friendship with Strickland, and is also on the rise. So, Izzy will always be haunted by Alex. Alex can’t guve two shits about Izzy
I also think a lot of the hate came because of the same mistake that this video makes. The idea that Izzy somehow "proved everyone wrong" by beating Alex 1/4 times. A lot of the fans were annoyed by the notion that Izzy wins once and has proven he is great or some nonsense. He lost 3 times. He needs to beat Alex 3 more times to win their feud.
The situation now is even worse for him after his response to Pereira about coming back. Alex respectfully called out Izzy, saying that he’s a talented man and wanted to motivate him the same way Izzy did years ago (even though this “motivation” was saying that Pereira will always forever be a guy in the bar telling that beat him once). Well, Izzy now is that guy in the bar.
now that he takes some time off in fighting all I can say is, I never thought Sean Strickland is the man that can damage Izzy’s confidence and character. I can’t blame him if he feels bad losing to Strickland, I mean who would have thought? It’s a tough pill to swallow that Sean was the only fighter who walked down Izzy so easily. Adesanya really needs to take some time off and re-assess himself on this.
Everyone who fights izzy has always let him off the hook for some reason. They will have him against the cage, no escape, and they reset to the middle and let him walk forward on them. Strickland is the only person who kept pressure and instead of backing off, used fundamental basic striking. Fast jabs, 1-2 when a jab connects clean, and get off the center line for a hook when you see the opponent telegraph something big. That’s all Sean did the entire fight. Maintain a tight defense and it’s a wrap. IMO it really showed a lack of depth for Izzy, he’s a good counter puncher but that’s about it, you have to blitz on him and give him something. Izzy could’ve initiated grappling in the clinch, circled out off a clinch, changed levels for a takedown to create a little more space and escape off that, teep kicked to maintain his own distance. It’s MMA there’s tons of options, all he did was let Sean march him down for 25 minutes and tag him the entire time.

Izzy loves playing the victim, especially when he is not one, andhis fans take up after him lol

Izzy is my hero and despite what’s happening with him there is a best side to every one and he just needs to work himself to that point yes he’s a good man now but imagine if he took that time off and came back not only more dangerous in the octagon but he may have some development in his character that other fighters won’t dis him
He’s hangs out with Andrew Schultz doing ecstasy too much
I like the picture to the video either he’s mocking Alex or he truly thinks that’s how a bow and arrow works 😂😂
Alex's son hunting down izzy for revenge in twenty years
The Dogbender
Izzy singling out Pereira's kid and acting like hes hot shit for a 1 of 4 record is pretty cringe.
He flatlined Pereira out cold in an all time great comeback to become the first 2x MW champ with one of the best celebrations
I think that's hot but don't ask me😮💨
I'm not a hating nobody like you
@@RealMrSmile he did that magnificent achievement and all he could think about was the shade a kid had thrown at him. Good fighter, fragile ego.
@@CRWiebeThe kid needed humbling, kids think they can get away with anything these days 😂😂😂
Starts with the Yoel fight and he blamed Yoel and got the commentators to blame Yoel even though the live audience knew what happened. Somehow words changed everyone's mind instead of their eyes. He got away with that and called everyone s hater and continued this behavior forever with zero self reforction
I saw him ducking and running from Yoel in one of those rounds like a little bitch.
@@DynastyLuminous46yup as soon as yoel landed that overhand izzy started running
Izzy was the champion if yoel wanted it he would've took it to him but he didn't so why are you still bitching about it.
@@David-li2qj Izzy did not look like a champion in that match at all neither, it was severely lackluster on both of their accounts, but the image of Izzy running like a bitch lives rent free in my head.
@@David-li2qj there is no champ privilege you casual , when you enter the cage the belt is considered vacant for who ever wins it
Never look up to an influencer, especially if you don’t know who they truly are behind the camera
His biggest problem: lost the 2nd time, thus all praises and forgiveness disappearing
the only reason why he got away with it for so long was because he was the best, but after this loss we all see hes not nearly as good as everyone once thought he was and is now facing the consequences.
you saying he isn't a good fighter?
They only love when you're winning, they're a bunch of hypocrites.
I am white, born and bred in South Africa, lived here my entire life. I am African.. ofc. I am. A black guy that was born and bred in any other continent is not African. DDP is right, if you as a black New Zealander bring home the belt, you aint bringing that thing back to Africa now are you? Americans with their racist terminology made it confusing to everyone. Either stick with African-American and European-American and call the natives American (which they don't do).. or stick with everyone being American with the identifier being black/white/native or whatever.. that is technically way less racist. We don't call white people that are born and bred in Africa European-Africans because as a continent we are African.
Nah wrong take, so if someone was born in South Africa but his parents moved to a different country when he was young does that make him not South African anymore?, or what about his parents are they now not South African cause they chose to move?
Adesanya was born in Africa. And your people claim European heritage with video evidence 🤷🏿♂️ not to mention your facilities and establishments were labelled "European only" less than 30 yrs ago in an African country. You know the truth🤷🏿♂️
Kelvin didnt hold the interim title, they fought for it because Rob was injured. Not a huge deal
"I'm black outside, Chinese inside"
bro gotta lay off the anime bench watching

Izzy embodies almost every negative trait a human can have
glad I am not like "everyone". I love Izzy and I know he'll bounce back
You missed him being petty with poatan's kid
Izzy future is seeing Alex defeating every person that defeated Izzy, wich already happened, Alex becoming the real champ in 205 wich will happen soon, Izzy goes up and loose to ALEX, goes back at 185 looses and retires
Your earned a new subscriber my boy
i got to fell that "happiness" izzy wanted us to feel.. when stickland whooped his ass for 5 rounds! that was absolutely amazing and joyful
I loved everything about him. And then he decided to be a racist. I was done.
