That part of the exchange is obviously (at least on Jesse Eisenberg's part) in jest. The whole interview as far as he was concerned was just him messing with the interviewer and being playfully mean. The jokes that he made picking apart her interview like the little league comments or the writing on the hand are just supposed to take the edge off and make it a more lighthearted and casual experience that's supposed to be more fun to both take part in and watch as a viewer. It's clear that Jesse Eisenberg thought that the interviewer was just playing along and wanted to have a good time instead of marching through a slog of questions and wasn't aiming to hurt her feelings.
Many people have pointed out that they felt that they were flirting. I thought for the longest time that it was a skit. Apparently he felt they were being playful but she felt he was being rude. The whole interview is just two people having a different sense of humor.
Vin diesel was definitely on something. Id say some kind of psychedelic like mdma or shrooms. But if a bad interview consists of being showered in compliments. I think ill take that over being berated 😂
I think cruise handled himself very well considering the interviewers questions, he didn’t get outrageously mad, no raising his voice, just calmly addressing the questions
No he just put a brat in her place and tried to teach her some manners. She disrespected one of the biggest actors out there. Then laughed it off with a joke of hers. Then when Jesse tried to make her see how disgusting her behaviour was by continuing in the humoristic set up she made. She took offence. She got called out and didn't like it. And she continued to double down because it got her attention.
@@samjudd9932 I agree. Jessie was out of line. He started the bitterness over calling someone else by their surname? It's way more formal than using first name but less formal than his full name. I wouldn't say it's worth starting a row over at all. Then the guy berated her continuously until the interview was done. The dudes lucky he got away unscathed from that whole thing
The Jesse Eisenberg interview is a clear example of misunderstanding. One person thinking they were being made fun of and the other thinking it’s was a playful interaction.
I totally understand Robert Downey Jnr’s reaction to the questioning and rehashing of his history with drugs. His past happened like 20+ years ago now and everyone has a past. He worked hard to reinvent himself and worked hard to get his life back on track so why do people have to keep bringing people’s indiscretions up
"I will go ahead and say Sway had the answer". Good on him honestly, it seemed like he was saying crazy things for the shock value for some time, but this one was growth.
5:15 I'm so glad RDJ got up and walked out on that chump. Why does that guy even have a show? With his smug reaction and crossing his arms, he was clearly taken aback and felt stupid, total #chumpion right there.
@@lerat5978yea she basically roasted herself while also apologizing. TH-cam creators should take note of it before making their apology videos. Any apology means you did something wrong so really the only thing you can do with one is be as sincere as you can.
@jclerkley95 totally. She said I have this dream where you make me laugh and smile, then I actually get excited when you leave and bring in 2 hot guys. It was also the way she said it to him like that. Just strange.
Wait, you mean how she bragged about her achievements being less than that of Jonah's, that's how you think a good apology should go? Not just simply admitting what was wrong? Amending to do better in the future? Personally, I don't think making it about her self-pity is appropriate.
16:30 Peter (interviewer) and Nicole Kidman have been friends since childhood. Tom had previously met Peter several times prior. So Tom, was happy to be interviewed by Peter and was not expecting Peter to be so intrusive about Nicole on camera.
I feel so bad for RDJ here, you can tell how uncomfortable he was, handled it well though, the interviewer didn't offer any respect to he did the same.
12:20 It's not always because someone looks similar, memory can be weird. You might remember a totally different actor playing a role in a movie you saw years ago, often they are the same race but could look totally different and it's just how memory works sometimes. I mean heck you can even incorrectly remember a situation involving different friends or family members.
7:56 Nah that’s craaaaazzzyyy. They were clearly trying push the awkward on her like she just showed up with that attitude. While clearly she was like “You look irritated might of been us” she knew exactly where her actions led this conversation to go.

Nah I’d take the insults, being complimented on a show would make me extremely uncomfortable, especially like that lol.
Or he's just a creep.
@@TNEQL that was definitely drugs lol
I think cruise handled himself very well considering the interviewers questions, he didn’t get outrageously mad, no raising his voice, just calmly addressing the questions
Jesse Eisenberg legitimately thought he was still his character from now you see me 😂😂😂
No he just put a brat in her place and tried to teach her some manners.
@@gargoyled_drake how is it disrespectful to call someone just by their last name. Genuine question
It is in my native language @@samjudd9932
@@gargoyled_drake i found eisenburg
@@samjudd9932 I agree. Jessie was out of line. He started the bitterness over calling someone else by their surname? It's way more formal than using first name but less formal than his full name. I wouldn't say it's worth starting a row over at all. Then the guy berated her continuously until the interview was done. The dudes lucky he got away unscathed from that whole thing
I like how robert team was on board like “lets go….. come on….”
Like thats really good
The Jesse Eisenberg interview is a clear example of misunderstanding. One person thinking they were being made fun of and the other thinking it’s was a playful interaction.
Very much so 🎯 I genuinely thought it was a great interview too lol
I totally understand Robert Downey Jnr’s reaction to the questioning and rehashing of his history with drugs. His past happened like 20+ years ago now and everyone has a past. He worked hard to reinvent himself and worked hard to get his life back on track so why do people have to keep bringing people’s indiscretions up
That Vin Diesel was hard to watch 😮💨
Robert had that big breath of rage but held back lol
RDJ was giving so many signs of frustration from the looks to the breathing to everything the interviewer just genuinely wanted to start something
The cara delevigne interviewers were BEYOND out of line
I think she handled them excellently
They stood on business 😂 told her to take a nap and get a redbull😂
I wanted to cry watching that. 😢 It's horrible watching someone get bullied in such a public platform
@@Keynels How is being unprofessional and rude to your guest "standing on business"?
@@terrra_2024 they felt like she was being rude to them? I guess it’s objective.
"I will go ahead and say Sway had the answer".
Good on him honestly, it seemed like he was saying crazy things for the shock value for some time, but this one was growth.
Vin was intoxicated
14:51 Always loved that look Ye gave Sway when he asked "Doing what more then you?"
I think Tom Cruise handled the 2005 interview well, the interviewer was really stepping over a line while smiling even....
Even though he’s a weird fuckin dude, he did handle that interview extremely well.
The interviewer wasn't really being smug, Peter Overton has been like that his entire career regardless of who he is interviewing.
@@DoctorDipshits Tom Cruise is a legend. All of Tom's movies made over $12.1 billion at the box office.

5:15 I'm so glad RDJ got up and walked out on that chump. Why does that guy even have a show? With his smug reaction and crossing his arms, he was clearly taken aback and felt stupid, total #chumpion right there.
I mean that was a pretty good apology to Jonah.
It was a very sincere apology, but she clearly hurt him with that comment.
@@lerat5978yea she basically roasted herself while also apologizing. TH-cam creators should take note of it before making their apology videos.
Any apology means you did something wrong so really the only thing you can do with one is be as sincere as you can.
@lerat5978
Was she basically saying Brad Pitt and Leonardo DeCapio were better looking?
@jclerkley95 totally. She said I have this dream where you make me laugh and smile, then I actually get excited when you leave and bring in 2 hot guys. It was also the way she said it to him like that. Just strange.
Wait, you mean how she bragged about her achievements being less than that of Jonah's, that's how you think a good apology should go?
Not just simply admitting what was wrong? Amending to do better in the future?
Personally, I don't think making it about her self-pity is appropriate.
"She was in a mooood!!" No lady, that was all you and it's called jealousy.
I cringed so hard at the Vin Diesel one, holy damn wtf is wrong with him???
That was fr so weird. 😂😂💀
But the ending of Furious 7 is very emotional.

Respect for the interviewer who didn’t get intimidated by Kanye West and stayed cool.
Tom Cruise was an example to behold, and Vin Diesel was definitely on a bunch of drugs 😂😂
16:30 Peter (interviewer) and Nicole Kidman have been friends since childhood. Tom had previously met Peter several times prior. So Tom, was happy to be interviewed by Peter and was not expecting Peter to be so intrusive about Nicole on camera.

He should have responded like this: "I just left?", "like I am doing now?" then stand up and leave.
10:57 such a creepy interview, but the singing at this part lives rent free in my head.
RDJ handled it great. It was a movie promotion not a in-depth biography interview.
I legitimately don’t think I can ever watch a vin diesel movie again after this.

You can watch RDJ whole body language change. He went from breathing slowly and calmly to sucking in air about ready to snap.
7:56 Nah that’s craaaaazzzyyy. They were clearly trying push the awkward on her like she just showed up with that attitude. While clearly she was like “You look irritated might of been us” she knew exactly where her actions led this conversation to go.
Kanye’s mental illness was raging even back then. He’s absolutely insufferable… even turns his back to Sway while talking! Platinum levels of crazy.
This was a great video. Some examples of horrible interviewers, others of horrible celebrities. Good work.
The Sam Jackson autograph signed by Lawrence Fishburne is legendary haha

Tarantino is such a boss. Didn't let the interviewer move away from cinema discussion.
Vin needs to stick to "I am groot" and nothing more!!
I can't tell you how satisfying it is to hear kanye admit someone else is right. Specially with how right swae really was. Swae low key told him to do the higher level approach of what these influences do with merch.
Vin diesel interview reminds me of the scene in Bad Boys 2 when Martin Lawrence accidentally swallows two ecstasy pills 😅
