your performance and your explanation had me in tears.. i'm so touched
Thank you for sharing your precious moments and thoughts. May we all enjoy the simplicity of our daily lives.
It's not necessarily has to be that way my friend. The preparation and the action, the stillness and the movement, they are two sides of one coin. Actually, one can not exist without the other. Even take a few moment to let our breathe calm down has a great impact on our brush work. Maybe give it try and see how it works for you? 😉
Thank you. Whoever watched this video to the end mush be very patient!😄
Beautiful Moment.Thank you for sharing.
Thank you Jeff for sharing your feelings too
Beautiful Tao
Hi there, thank you for your kind reply. 😊
That is so true ❤🎉
Though not easy to apply in everyday! It's a reminder for myself too 😄

That’s very kind of you to share your thoughts and feelings. Thank you for your generosity.
That is very beautiful face ❤❤🎉
Hi there, sorry but I don't understand the question. Would you like to say a little more about your question? Thank you
@@artofthebrush I mean the brush should go along a central line (中鋒).
@@badaullim Thank you! When practicing East Asian Calligraphy, most of the time our brush is upright or, as you said goes along a central line ((中鋒/中锋). And one should always follow this guideline especially when they first start their training. And this is formal style. When the practitioner gets more confident, then move on to free style, one will be able to explore various movements of the brush, for example, side of the brush, pausing the brush or something else that he/she feels at that moment. Calligraphy can be very personal, just like we all have our own unique handwritings 😄 Let me know if you have further questions. You can also reach out to me through info@artofthebrush.ie. Thank you.
Thank you for your comments. I understand that the preparation might seem complicated for just writing one single character - and you are right. The practice I'm sharing, in fact, half of the efforts is on the body and mind, thus, we always take our time to sit, to breath and to connect with what we are doing. So we can enjoy the process more without being attached to the result of the calligraphy strokes. I'd love to hear your thoughts and thank you for sharing.
Ahhh how wonderful is your interpretation about calligraphy and the culture. Learn from each other and enjoy the beauty within and the spirit of the strokes. Thank you and appreciated.

@@国明陈-r3w Hi there, thank you for sharing your thoughts. There is so much to learn and I always consider myself as a beginner. The calligraphy piece in the corner is a copy of the ancient master Wang Xizhi. It's semicursive style so it may not look very much like the formal style which most of the time be considered as the "standard" form. However, I like it because it's an improve expression and its free and unique. 😊
Hi there, thank you for your kind words and ... Happy New Year!

Hi there, would you like to explain more about your question? Thank you
Hi there, the text at the bottom is "平常心是道", which can be translated as "A normal and simple heart, is Dao/Tao".
Viral! What's that?
Hi there, would you like to specify what you are asking? Ehmm I don't quite get it 🤔 . Thank you
