I really enjoy my Teq Offroad MAM. It pairs well with the bulletproof phone mount which is also aluminum. It’s definitely a sturdy off-road setup so you don’t have to worry about your phone flying off your phone mount.
Glad you’re working with TEQ Off-road. I love my half mount with the radio holder. You got me thinking with that MagSafe. May try to incorporate that as well.
Hi Sean. Another sicmod video. Ive preordered the center console molle panel for my 2000 4Runner. I think I'll order this one too to give me the maximum attachment ability. Thanks for the video and looking forward to the center console molle panel video.
I have a RAM mount for my phone and it's a really good phone holder. I have a 1st gen Tacoma and I put the RAM mount on the hand hold on the A-pillar. Just replaced one of the bolts with a slightly longer bolt and attached the ball and socket for the mount to the A pillar. With the phone right on the A-pillar it makes it really easy to glance down at the phone for google maps and notifications.
I have this on my '98 and really like the flexibility it provides for phone, iPad, comms, etc. I do wish it angled up somehow so that I could still see my temp controls. I didn't think that would be an issue, but it's a little frustrating at times when I'm having to reach underneath to adjust temps and can't quite get a quick glance. Minor issue, though. Pretty cool mod.
Hello, timmy toolman, i live in ny, my fuel filler neck rotted out , i got it out and struggling to get the new one in, do you know the way? thank you!!
@richmond7635 We've never replaced a gas filler neck, so I can't really advise you on this. I would suspect that with the rubber hose that attaches the filler pipe to the tank out of the way, you should be able to get the replacement pipe in. Have you removed the plastic cover in the wheel well to expose the pipe. I show that in our rear differential breather mod video. th-cam.com/video/tCGMa4vng_g/w-d-xo.htmlsi=DDAoDup6YyXpVWxX
Man I bought one of these last year, had it sitting on my counter for a week waiting to install and my girlfriend must have thrown it out cleaning up. Drives me crazy can’t find it anywhere
Wish someone would make an aftermarket replacement surround piece mine is busted and unless you wanna spend 200-300 bucks on eBay you’re SOL. They must be a hot ticket item too cause every junk yard I’ve been too they’re gone
I like the idea but them surrounds are as brittle as a 95 year old grannies hip around here in AZ. If I look at them wrong it'll crack. I really wish there was an aftermarket replacement for them.
@@zealousoutdoors both of the stereo surrounds I installed these into are holding up fine. You can reinforce your interior bezels with JB weld or something similar onto the inside seems and mounting points if you’re concerned of the long term structure integrity. We have heard of the wood grain style getting brittle after being 20 years old, however you can still buy the OEM black plastic style new still. Haven’t seen any aftermarket options yet. - Sean

They really are this easy to install! I love my MAM in my 1st Gen Sequoia. Thanks for the video, and I'm glad to see you're working with TEQ Offroad!
Love my TEQ mount! Everything TEQ offroad puts out is top notch!

Thanks for the video!!! 🎉
Great Video!
If I may suggest, the 99-02 wood grain is very brittle compared to the 96-98. If you do break it it's very difficult to find a replacement.
You make a valid point… the 96-98’s are way easier to find than the 99+
- Sean
@TimmyTheToolman love your guy's videos.
Too much good stuff 🤘
Siiiiiic. I just don’t know about putting holes in my stuff. I think I’ll use outdoor double stick tape.
You gotta break an egg to make an omelette!
- Sean
I guess it’s a good thing I’m not making an omelette. 😂😂.
Will also fit my 99 Landcruser Prado wonder if they ship to Australia
Sic Mod Dude 😜👍
What iPad are you using? Also does it hold well while driving or does it wobble?
iPad Pro 11”.. it’s pretty sturdy
