LOL, at the end, Buakaw throws his arms up in victory, Pique throws up his arms as a celebration of survival! Pique is a big strong boy, great puncher, but he doesn't come close to matching Buakaw in punching, kicking, throwing or just conditioning. Pique is heaving and has trouble standing by the final round, while Buakaw is throwing kicks as quick as in the first round. So much respect shown by all.
I kinda giggled when the commentator said that the fighters may have been confused about the rules due to the lack of elbows. Nobody wants to throw elbows unless they need to, or the other fighter does first. Everyone knows a good cut can give you a win, but nobody wants a win because they got the fighter with a good cut early. Sort ofike respect.... Same goes with sweeps. Saenchai gets away with it cause he goes to straight dominate, or teach a lesson. But fighters will only do sweeps when theyre evenly matched and need to get points in whatever way possible, or the other fighter is being a bit dirty and it's done sort of like to embarrass them. It does a lot to the fighters moral picking yourself up from the floor. Especially if you've been put down there in a manhandled way. I think manhandled is no longer acceptable speech here in the states. I believe it's theyhandled in "NewSpeak..."
