thanks soo much ive been searching like for ever to find that fight with english comentator schiavello to hear what he said about this fight i can´t agree more by the way, buakaw fought a perfect fight three rounds the draw and the extra round is one of the biggest robbery of all k1 fights ever of course just my personally opinion (souwer is a great fighter but it should have been buakaw facing petro in the final)
The fitness and skill of these athletes is superb. If a normal guy, even after years of training, faced up against them then he'd be KO:d or seriously injured within seconds of the opening bell.

Sometimes he has kicked the shit out of a guy for three rounds, and then there will still be an extra round because the judges thought the fight was evenly scored 😂😂 Sometimes it's so obvious that it's almost comic😂
The winner of this tournament would fight in Masato's retiring match. Which Masato represents as a Fighter Icon in Japan. The politicians would love to make sure that Masato win his fight as easy as possible. That's why they cheated Buakaw and let Souwer win. Buakaw already won against Masato once, whos to say that it won't happen again. BTW This is one of the most perfect match of Buakaw

Souwer couldn't get close to him, didn't land much, didn't kick, and ate kicks and knees...sure he punched but caused no damage. if you're saying he won the extension round maybe, but there is no way Souwer won the regulation rounds, even under K-1 rules.

That equals to Buakaw winning almost every single exchange in this fight. Souwer keeps the pace up but so many punches misses their target it just makes him look desperate.

Buakaw is using the clinch, a perfectly viable tactic and very likely Buakaw’s whole game plan going against a proficient boxer like Andy. Remember, a double kick from the same leg is showing off. If you can connect with the same kick twice you’ve shown the judges that your opponent has forgotten about defense. The best thing Andy could’ve done is to block or evade those kicks and counter with a clean kick of his own. That would’ve made Buakaw think twice before throwing another kick. I’ll give it to Andy though that he shows incredible resilience taking those kicks to the arms and moving forward. I know they hurt, I’ve been kicked like that.m many times. Like Andy my punches was my best feat during the later half of my fighting career. I respect your opinion, i get where you’re coming from. I can see your perspective. It is a viable tactic to fight like Andy did here. Aiming to connect with punches when your opponent kicks is certainly not a bad idea. He knew that Buakaw’s hands was not on the same level. What I see is this. Buakaw knows that Souwer has heavy and fast hands. What he’s doing is kicking his arms to wear his arms out. Just like Canelo is boxing people’s shoulders in his fights. I know this because I’ve had many fights in Muay Thai, Kickboxing, Kyokushin and a couple of boxing bouts. To connect with a kick to the arms and have the opponent rush you time and time again says to me that he’s desperate and is (at the time) not smart enough to see that he’s losing points. To me it looks sloppy. Like he doesn’t remember the basics of evading or blocking a kick. I know Andy to be smarter than this and I would’ve liked for him to have fought smarter here. go and watch and count the clean strikes for both fighters. Thats all I need to say.. and if you read my post you'll see I'm not talking about blocked strikes. If someone 'eats' a knee or kick it means it's a clean strike. sorry if you did not know that. Good kickboxers or muay thai fighters dont simply kick away and miss... both require technical striking, you don't see many muay thai knockouts from blocked strikes...doesn't matter which sport, both require good clean strikes.
