Nice video. I had never done rear brake calipers before. I did not understand why you were rotating the caliper piston to compress it. I found out it is necessary on rear calipers with the integral parking brake. Learned something new to me. I used an 8 inch C clamp with channel lock pliers. It was good to see the young lady involved. Thanks for posting.
Thanks for the nice comment. It took me some leaning the first time I’ve done these type of calibers also. I’m an old school mechanic ,use to older vehicles. Never to old to learn .
The spray is brake clean and the grease usually come in little packets with the pads, however just regular grease works fine . Use very little ,you don’t want any on the rotor or pads.
The ford ecosport wheel lugs or nuts always stucks in the sockets just buy some other company from Supercheap auto and you will like that, they are stronger and equal size not like ford ones which bottoms big and heads are small and thats why stucks all the time.

Well done, I always make sure I l remove the brake fluid reservoir cap: Makes pushing the caliper piston back easier
Yes, that is good advise. I also normally do , however we forgot too this time
Great lesson once taught to me by someone special.
All i gotta say is thanks for the video man.... Got it finished thanks to you.. 🤝
👍🏻👍🏻🤜🏻 Hey , glad to help. Thanks for letting me know.
The caliper is thenonly part im not fully understanding idk what to twist exactly
@@sickewos6560 twist the piston while pushing inward. It should go fairly easily.if it doesn’t there’s a problem with the caliper
@@ranflee1 so the black piece ur holdin down you also twist at same time?
Love this. Thank you.
You are so welcome!
Thanks for the video! What is the name of the grease and the oil spray you applied? Many thanks 🙏

LOL. I’m sure it’s not that serious, but I’m glad it helped you. That’s why I do the videos.

Better than paying the stealership for a $1600 brake job !
Absolutely!
Wear gloves😂 also, use a respirator when spraying brake cleaner
Good advice
