This was so well made and directed. Love how you handle the camera and tell the story of Batman in stealth mode. This is the perfect companion to the Arkham games apart from playing. And you really do feel how menancing Batman is with all of the traps and lurking in the darkness.
I have a legitimate project idea for you that I have been itching to see someone make for YEARS. You know how people put full game playthroughs on TH-cam, almost in movie form? The videos usually focus mostly on the cutscenes and they trim down the gameplay to the important bits. The problem is, in movie form, the gameplay bits always take people out of the cinematic feel because it, well, looks like gameplay. If YOU could make a full game-movie, where you include the important story-centered gameplay, but do it the way you did here - as cinematic as a cutscene - it would be INCREDIBLE. PLEASE do this. I would be able to introduce the game to non-gamers who just want to watch it like a movie. YOU HAVE THE SKILL TO MAKE THIS HAPPEN!
I appreciate your confidence in me, this could work in theory but the pre-rendered cutscenes will always stay the same since they aren't loaded in real time. Right now I'm basically doing this but through the eyes of the inmates but after that's over maybe I'll look into making a cinematic series of the story from Batman's perspective, who knows...
@@arkhamcityinmate7621 Well what I mean is, I would still KEEP all the pre-rendered cutscenes, as they are part of the story and the experience. However, where other "movie" versions of the game on TH-cam just showcase the gameplay moments as they are normally, YOU would turn those moments into cinematic pieces that flow into the pre-rendered cutscenes more seamlessly. I would still cut a lot of the unneeded "fat" out of the gameplay to make it more watchable as a movie. Cut it together in a way that only includes the necessary moments of gameplay that contribute to the story. For instance, the viewer doesn't need to see every little puzzle Batman has to solve to get from A to B. That's only rewarding to a player, not a viewer. As long as we SEE and UNDERSTAND that Batman GOT from A to B, it's fine. So for example, the museum. We don't need to see Batman go through every single hallway or activate every electric switch. However, moments like --- Batman walking on the thin ice with the shark - or the predator encounter to get the disruptor from Mr. Freeze's suit - or the combat encounter with the big Abromavich twin --- should all still be included, because it's necessary to see. But it will be almost as cinematic as a cutscene the way you would edit it! See what I mean? You can still include some combat, predator, and exploration moments, as long as they contribute to and flow with the "movie" and story experience. You'd retain the entire story structure of the game, keep all the cutscenes. Just make the gameplay moments more cinematic to watch. If you pull that off, it will be the single best way to watch the game on TH-cam.
@@mattdamsel2176I get what you mean, it’s a great idea. I will try it out for a few episodes sometime in the future and if it works out I’ll make a full series, thanks for the suggestion!
This is exactly what I would want to make if time and money were of no consequence
This is better than any movie honestly
you make the best Batman Arkham content on this platform by a long shot, insane effort as always
This is remarkable and underrated. You really captured the horror aspect of Batman that so many medias often fail to capture.
U should do one of the Arkham city from the inmates perspective expect it’s like a predator map
If there's one thing I can always count on its that your videos will always be insanely well made
The 🐐 has returned once we need from him! 🔥
I love that one shot 2:55 the expression with the lack of sound for a moment
