Another fun normal summon I’ve been testing is formud skipper, which can copy the name of a mekk knight in the extra deck to make the links, and searches parallel exceed for rank 4 plays
Trap Monster Rulings: If its trap effect that treats it as a monster is negated, it gets stuck in the S/T zone. If it's trap effect is negated while it is already a monster, it returns to the S/T Zone as a trap card, and is now stuck there. This is because they only summon themselves as trap monsters as part of the effect that happens when the card is activated. Other trap cards that become monsters, like Shade Brigadine and the Paleozoics, are NOT treated as trap cards anymore, so negating their effect(s) won't return them to the S/T zone (and further, negating the effect of Shade on its activation, it won't get stuck, as it is still a normal trap at the time). To also add to this, is that if you negate the monster effect(s) of a trap Monster, it will not return to the S/T zone unless you also negate the trap effect that treats it as a monster. So an Infinite Impermanence activated from hand won't revert it, but one activated in the same column would return the trap Monster to the S/T
I like your commentary on how while this isn't going to be meta relevant, it's still a fun deck to play. I played a similar build (that might have inspired this) in the latest RCS largely because it was pre-ETCO but I might still hold onto it because of Girsu's pricetag. Besides, it's my constitutional RIGHT to go X-4 at locals, and with this, I can have fun doing so.

Eldlich was needed. Konami wasn't making any new good archtypes, rocks were also too neglected I was starting to feel sorry. Problem is, both decks lack restrictions and can incorporate unfair shìt. Eldlich itself isn't a problem, just a great control deck but it can add degenerate engines (draw a tuner, make 3 negate appol wtf), while Adamancipator can add all the unfair that exists in yugioh (block dragon was always broken, just no synergizing archtypes existed, auroradon combos are ridiculous, konami printed too many non-archtypal negating synchros etc.) If eldlich only had its pop+negate and some floodgates, and adaman could end on its own synchros (a dd crow and negate...hell maybe a crystal wing too) these decks would be strong but not unfair.

If Eldlich and Adaman will stay as meta after lockdown ends, show it in tourney results, they will eventually get hit. Meta shìfts by releasing good new archtypes and banning old broken cards/combos.

You say that they're nothing to do with adamancipators and eldlitch, but have you ever played Adamancipator Eldlitch? basically it's just a mash of 2/3rds of an eldlitch deck and adamantias w/ ultimaya tzolkin as a payoff.
Ok, here is the list of cards that I think need to get hit next banlist, add your thoughts. Apolusa. She is way too easy to summon and never comes with less than 3 negates. She is never a bad play and always is live, being way too oppressive as a defensive option against handtraps and as angressive monster in unbreakable boards. In short, if Apolusa hits the field, you won’t likely activate your combo pieces. Lightning Storm. This card makes playing any backrow deck or strategy immediately unviable. The expectation being Eldlich, which only can survive it because every piece of backrow in that deck floats. Furthermore it’s versatility by being a “quasi” raigeki means that even against non backrow decks or fields it is safe. Halqafibarx. This card turns any combination of monsters with a tuner into a double negate, at the very least. It enables every strategy way too constantly, all while being too strong of a play on its own.
Just my thoughts: In theory I agree with Halq, but the TCG rarely bans cards so soon after they come out (especially since people have been struggling doing IRL play during this time). Realistically what would work instead would be hitting the cards which work with it, either tuners like O-lion and Jet Synchron or synchros like Borreload Savage Dragon. Then they can unban them again later down the road when they think people have had their go with Halqifibrax. Apollousa isn't used as much anymore in my experience because of all the other bosses Halq enables, maybe it could get a hit on the next banlist on, after the Halq combos have been hit down a peg. (Or from a Konami perspective, after it's been reprinted, although by then Dragoon will probably be legal and Apollousa will be re-powercrept). Then again I'm not sure, perhaps it could be banned next list if the list was quite ruthless. Lightning Storm is strong, but right now going-second decks need all the help they can get. Again, perhaps when the more powerful going-first options have been weakened by the banlist, this card could be addressed on the list after. Also, I suspect the reason why it feels like such a big deal now is because Eldlich is forcing everyone else to main (or at least side) it. If they reduce the power of Eldlich, Lightning Storm will see less play so you won't have to worry about it as much.
IamGrimalkin my main argument for lightingstorm is that it makes any other backrow deck immediately unviable. Altergeist? Traptrix? Paleo? Even “shudders” mystic mine control. They are all immediately unviable. Eldlich isn’t good because of lightningstorm. It’s in spite of it. Furthermore it makes splashing traps as engines completely worthless. Compulse, strike, lost wind usw. are just not worth it, when your opponent can go +2 for just having 1 card in hand

Lightning Storm is bad against mine burn compared to their backrow removal (especially cosmic and unending nightmare), so the fact they aren't doing well has nothing to do with that. My point is that Lightning Storm only seems so omnipresent now because Eldlich is so strong and everyone is putting in a counter for it. If Eldlich got hit on the banlist, much less people would play lightning storm (in the maindeck at least), so other backrow decks wouldn't have to face it as often.
I love rolorolo but, I hate the multiple zoodiac combos he played. Combo such to draw cause it has a bad effect and you need to discard a zoo monster with blade to turn on some of your most important cards like chakanine. The only time it's good is mid game either to discard with blade after you got GY set up or send with a rat that you hard draw or have a tenki for. But, that's very situtational. I can maybe see playing 1 of them but, playing 3 is clunky and lead to rolorolo losing.
"i'll be building this in paper." idk man. is this actually better than other mekk variants or does it just seem more interesting by comparison of being fresher? i guess i'm questioning the wisdom of running a bunch of otherwise dead cards on the offhand chance you draw into a 2-of in order to.... get a fogblade and MAYBE an extra summon on the opp turn if your hand happens to have a spare mekk AND the conditions for orange sunset are met?
