Caribbean Boiled Corn (Corn on the Cob) | Taste of Trini

- Here's my favourite way to eat corn! It's tossed in a spicy, seasoned butter and is sure to have you addicted after the first taste!
Here's what you'll need:
8-10 corn
salt (to your preference)
black pepper
1 tablespoon aleppo pepper powder
1 cup of bandhania/shadon beni/culantro, chopped finely
1 cup of coconut milk
2-3 scotch bonnet peppers
12-15 cloves of garlic, finely minced
1/2 cup of butter (I use Kerrygold)

This is how I do my corn. Except all the plabanos. Just shadow benny garlic lots and salt butter and coconut milk.. boil down till water half de pot . Makes the seasoning soak in corn core. The.n u can suck all the core.. yes girl ya corn bosss

FINAL! Made me sick for two days!There is a REASON why there was SLIME
on the Kernels, and selling corn with HUSKS still ON, is deceiving
.customers; I was shocked, too the assistant manager didn' t know what
HUSKING the corn meant; HE selected five ears of corn for me, and four
were ROTTED under the Kernels, YUCK! The rust coloring at the growth of
the kernel is indicative of a bacteria growing, and the slimy
half-chewed-away kernels are indicative on an ANIMAL having devoured
parts of the corn already. Corporate claimed they couldn't' do anything
about it but give me a refund; but concern for FUTURE shopper upset me !
I can not believe that a major corporation such as theirs need the
CUSTOMER TO TELL THEM what the BRAND name was before they'd act on the
PROBLEM! Do they not keep INVOICES of products that they purchase ? No
"Product Control Department" from corn they $urchased from " Oh, some
company in Los Angeles". Isn't LA having, also a major RAT invasion
problem in it gardens ? By the way, there's a WAY to husk corn that
involves pulling one side of the husk then SNAPPING off that edge OF the
corn; But at Smart and Final, customers need to cut through BOTH ENDS,
and INSPECT the CORES now, TOO! Now I know why their corp is not
associated in anyway whatsoever, with the BBB! ANYONE OUT THERE CARE
ABOUT HOW THE PUBLIC TRUST HAS BEEN VIOLATED, ? THEY KNOW WE AREN'T
GOING TO WAIT ON HOLD TO GIVE ALL OF THE REQUIRED DETAILS TO THE FOOD

When you go to a party in Trini outside the party yuh might see a person selling corn with an big put outside d partie and these people are the true Cooks these people who put in the recipe on TH-cam is rookie Cooks,Da true cooks they don't do it in stages they cook it all together and it tastes 10 times better than this, that's flavor. This is ah rookie cook method for some whom have no sense of flavor or cooking of any sorts .
