Can you do a video on how to inject the intel RST driver into an active windows installation using DISM ++? You could also inject driver files into a windows installation media tool via usb using DISM ++

I've actually download the storage driver file for my laptop so when i am was going to extract it's showing only install option not extract one pls help me

Same issue with my HP Omen 16, 11th Gen Intel(R) core (TM) i7-11800H, Serial is 5CD142LDV5, i have tried but it won't even see any drivers in my usb. Please any suggestions. Thanks

I have a dell computer like you but in bios settings there is no advanced setup opinion like you that's why I cant open this options and in the storage section I dont have anything like you. How can I unlock this settings do you know?

@@it.classroom thank you for your respond it is not old I have bought it just 6 months ago so, I think they locked or hid that significant settings to ordinary users access. I am trying to install windows 8.1 and I am suffering same issue with you there is no disk appearing on install menu. I tried to establish vmd drivers which is suitable with my cpu gen but windows 8 is not seeing this drivers. I installed windows 11 and 10 with this driver but in win8 it is not working I think. Due to that issue I tried to close vmd from bios but it is not visible. Thank you again for your attention. I subscribed 🚀
Most of manufacturer’s stopped support for windows 8 last year already,So it will be hard enough to get updated drivers. So my advice please upgrade to most recent operating System in order to get support for coming 3-5 Years. keep in Touch Thank you so much for writing. Must check manufacturer website with serial no. Or can download from intel website for specific generation.

Dear try to download driver from intel website. And run command exactly as shown in video you can copy command from description box too.one important thing when you open command prompt ,You must open from address bar of downloaded isrt driver folder .Sorry for late reply.

bro i am trying to re install windows. I dont want to normal install windows, i am trying to raid install. I have a HDD, and i am using a USB. Will this video help me achieve that?
First make sure from your bios do you have intel irst available. second step you must have two identical HDD so later you can make RAID. Thank you so much.

Now anytime you can add another hdd it will replicate all data to another volume RAID 1volume Thank you.

I think I've got same problem as you. My Dell Inspiron isn't supporting any drivers as well. I tried numerous of drivers but no luck man! @@ixebanndzz

Sorry brother irst drivers can only be obtained either from intel or manufacturer website.There is no alternative.

How do we install these drivers to a system that already has windows installed?
Dear there is a way but dont do it it is very risky.may be you will end up with blue screen.what is your purpose for installing irst. If you have more than 1 hdd or you want to deploy Raid then it is usefull otherwise no need. I hope you understand. Dear you dont have Intel IRST you can just normally install windows just disable secure boot during installation.if you dont know how to create bootable windows usb flash

I suspect you storage is still availabe looks like your 32 gb ssd is dead please cross check from bios.

Intel motherboard RAID....; still just a software RAID, and useless beyond RAID1..unless you like losing your data.
Depends upon your environment, Power failure could mess raid.Use UPS backup power supply and regular backups are must for any environment.
