how many times have i said that its often the second guy, not the original who ends up saving a band. Just look good at Iron Maiden. Barlow did that. and he is back again from all i know. Thank god for Matt Barlow.

from what i understand, Matt Barlow is back again. i might be wrong, but its just what i know.
Hell yeah man. Barlow’s main band is Ashes Of Ares, and also sings for a duo project called We Are Sentinels. Check out the song “From My Tower” by We Are Sentinels, it is awesome and you are gonna love it.
On a sad note, Barlow and Schaefer were actually writing a Christmas album before January 6th happened etc. now we’ll never hear it. I wish Jon the best and I hope his heart finds peace amidst all the legal trouble. He is a tremendously talented songwriter and is a solid guy. I also couldn’t find any of Jon’s “Sons Of Liberty” band’s stuff from awhile back. Bummer!

Iced Earth is an American band from Tampa, Florida.
John Schaffer is from Franklin,Indiana, about 60 miles from me.
