Hunting for relics takes on a whole new meaning when Chad's looking ! Just remember when he says new it's probably 50 years old and full of holes . Lol . Thumbs-up Jolene and Chad you always have great content and a great show ! Sametime this summer I do hope to see some work on the Bugatti Jolene when you can .❤
You don't know what their life is like off camera. Never judge a book by it's cover. And to be clear I do not know what they are really like off camera. 👍
Cool video...I liked that truck...very cool...thats a big cupboard...dang...like the snow mobile too....Jim will likes those plates for the Olds....have fun...cya tomorrow 😊
Reminds me of my Dad's '47 ford ton and a half with a stake bed . Had a flathead that always wanted to vaporlock because the mechanical fuel pump that was on the back of the block would soak up all the heat and fuel would turn to vapor. The fix was to use an electric fuel pump instead of the mechanical i was told years later ....i was about 12 y.o. when he sold the truck.
Morning Chad, I grew up in a farming community in Michigan, so the woods around our house were filled with junk piles, I would bring stuff home on the handle bars of my bike. I'm 65 years old, I still have the stuff I brought home. I still search for those woods junk piles.
In the area of Virginia there is a jail bar truck that's about the size of that one or two ton truck you looked at. Glad pass on their location information if you or anyone else is interested.
Chad is a good man, who has a lot of patience. I would have passed on seeing all of the guys collection of odd ball pieces, and would only be interested in the truck.
I always enjoy watching your videos. You always keep things real. I like what you are able to show what can be done with very little👍. I felt compelled to respond after seeing the 45. I have a 44 like it, yes 44 numbers match, civilian 44 that isn’t in bad shape. Um, bought it to cut up and make rat rod, once I realized what I had, can’t do do it. Looking for a good home for. Thing isn’t worth a lot even in perfect condition, but would like to see it go to someone who would preserve it, not destroy. If you have the network of people to choose from that may be interested? You can let me know. Keep up the good work👍Thanks
Watched half of today’s video!! When the frame broke i knew bad chad was mad and jolene was sad. If there were negative comments, welcome to the world of mooks! No offense but the bad man had no shot of restoring that pile of _______!
Good morning Chad and Joline. I guess you plan on finishing the build setting outside the garage door. I would really like to own that one but I understand it's your work in progress. Please let me know if you ever decided to have another giveaway on it. Iam in.
So did you buy the truck and the unit or just the unit! I would have thought your second stop was interesting, did you clear him out? Great filming Jolene...The bank manager...😉
I LOVE TURNING GARBAGE INTO WORKS OF ART. I DO DUST PAN ART WHICH IS SCRAP COPPER USUALLY. ALSO IM AN AWARD WINNING CAR BUILDER ON THE WEST COAST. IM 70 AND BEEN DOING CARS AND ART SINCE I WAS 15. ITS A COMPULSION. I WORKED AS A SHEETMETAL MECHANIC WHICH I LOVED FOR 25 YEARS. NICE TO SEE SO MANY OTHERS WITH SIMILAR INTREST, ESPECIALLY CHAD
Chad is ther many mopars down east anymore like darts and dusters im from sackville NB NEAR AMHEARST IM SURE U HAVE BEEN THERE ON WAY TO MOCTON BUT ID LIKE TO KNOW IF YOU COME ACROSS MANY OLD MOPARS 60s to 70s out in the woods down ther I haven’t been down ther since late 80s I know a lot of guys down ther like ther old junk I need some dart parts and a little vacation to my home town only reason im asking you is cause you know we’re all the junk isi live in Oshawa on now well since the 70s I should have moved down again nice old country life
I had a chance to buy s 42 Cadillac convertible for 500$ about 10 years ago from a man that my company had bought his xompany and we were cleaning out his warehouse and moving the inventory to our building he had it in a small biilding that was his own shop man cave type spot. He had completely disassembled it taken photos and video of the disassembly process every nut bolt part was bagged tagged labeled as well as could be and it was super rare as they stopped making cars to support the war like January of 42 to support the war, that would be world war 2 for those of you whom dont care to know any type of history, ya im talking to you youngsters. But anyways i hymned and hawed for a few days and when we took of Friday afternoon i told him i would move it out monday and i asked if he wanted money now or monday and he said lets just take care of it monday and ill bring a bunch of other random stuff that he had collected for the caddy and some odds and ends. I show up monday with my trailer and the cash back up trailer to shop door and there is literally 2 sets of jackstands i thought well thats weird maybe he loaded it up or something? Well he had loaded it up cause after calling him and saying im here wheres the car he said sorry buddy but i was tslking to a guy at the bar friday evening and the caddy fot brought up and he offered me 1500 for and so i sold it to him sorry. And hing up the phone. The shittiest part of it about 3 years ago i see the same car at the local swap meet with all the glass busted out full of bullet holes and missing a bunch of pieces. The dude had put it in a field next to his house and over the years kids had basically shot it up and he list pieces or sold pueces off including all the chrome and he was asking 5,000 for what was left. He still is dragging it around to the swapmeets every summer with his crazy price on it
Chad and Jolene Please pm me if the guy with the Porsches is interested in selling the porches? I’m in the uk and myself and my son would be interested to do a deal with him or you both ? Thanks Marty
It's sure to become a rare collector's episode. It was good!! Had me laughing!!! Bad Chad lived up to his name!!! Can't wait for tomorrow's episode to hear the latest!!
Not near as rare as they used to be. I've got my dad's 46 Ford and he turned down $20,000 for it before the internet. And now after the internet is worth a mere fraction of that it's really anything to speak up because Chevy's or more in demand now. Please gelbard trucks just never seemed to be that popular. I don't understand why because I like them. Maybe that's why. 45 colts for truck would be the most rare of the jail Bar type of trucks
I have a rare Chevy truck might be 1920 or 1919 but looks like 1918 chad could come get it for free if he gets it started rest of missing pieces are wood he has to make it a kool looking truck style was going to make it just like the 1918 legend truck but no time to many projects
Great having you share with us today thk you Chad and Jolene

40’s and 50’s trucks are great platforms for custom work. Go for it Chad!
This will be interesting. It is a survivor. Have fun today Chad. Jolene is simply amazing with the camera.
Chad, Jolene and Fina are just authentic awesomeness! Real grounded people and it’s something that money can’t buy. Integrity is the word.

I've rebuilt several of those old cabinets. Very nice.
just finding one that is still solid is a miracle

Glad to see you and Jolene enjoying yourselves be safe and careful God bless and have a blessed evening and night
Please do your blessings on some religious channel... learn proper etiquette Hank
Always nice to go on a road trip hunting and finding some cool stuff and to meet other people with the same hobby, collecting pieces of the past
That truck looks interesting 👍
Nice walk and beautiful spring landscapes 🌞
Nice restoration project for the Queen!
"I don't have much old stuff in here". shows an awesome vintage sign and matching '57 vintage plates.. 😁
Dog doesn't want him to leave without him. so he sits in the truck all day. super cool.
I find myself watching hours of your videos around & after supper time, cheers from Cape Breton.
Don’t let that truck get away from you!
Thanks Chad for the ride along nice looking truck be safe you guys
Old trucks are so cool

Hi Chad and Jolene from Trois-Rivieres Quebec
1 more great build coming soon by Bad Chad, Jolene and Fina, the best fabricator team ever.
Nice finds. Nice to see good people still out there!
Man what a great find
That aint no 1/2 ton ,its a 1 ton, duals are quick givaway..front fenders are different than 1/2 ton
Or is it a 1-1/2 ton?🤷♂️
I admit that I am not that familiar with the old Fords.
I am much more familiar with the old Chevys.
That's probably a G8T. Military contract.
@@willhorting5317 My 1946 was a 1 1/2 ton. The 7.50 x20 tires are a dead giveaway.

It was a great Sunday Funday!
Another outstanding road trip!

Very KOOL Plates for Jim and Cabinet
The seat on that Olympic is not original. The sled is not worth $1k let alone $3400 in two years. Ridiculous!
Love the old trucks
I’m at a demo job in Livingston ca old farmer has one I’n great condition looks so good all complete
Funds are always fun.

They took todays video down. A judge might not see things like Chad does reguarding the generator he took.
That will be a next project
👍
I am building my 44 Ford just like this one that is Marmon Herrington all wheel drive into a pickup 8' box - widened rear fenders to fit duals
Cool 👍 👍 👍 👍 👍
i am really missing your projects i do hope Jolenes back is feeling better. as said missing you 😥😥😥😥
Looks like jeepers creeper truck

Sometimes you just never know what you will find these days. Go looking for a cupboard and get a truck as well.

I'm in northwest Oregon I have a low hour 69' Skidoo nordic 371 $1,700 primo condition
I suppose all the negative feedback on their video today (may 15, 2023) they (Chad/Jolene) took it down...
My heavy hauler went down last year. Silly 6.0 diesel issues
Should be interesting
HI
What happened to Mondays video.
I was halfway through watching the recovery of your property now the video has disappeared.
Buy the snow mobile. It's only going to go up in price. Be handy when it snows

Happy far belated birthday Jan 11, try to remember folks and wish him the best
IN THE US WE STOPPED MAKING CARS VERY VERY EARLY IN 1942 AND RESTART UNTIL THE 1946 MODEL YEAR SO THERE WERE NO 1945 PICKUPS OR CARS.
