I had no clue these were some hot tales that were flying of the griddle, weird day to find out, dang You pretty much nailed my feelings tho. Old shock humor to me kinda feels like the same thing as South Park humor, jokes are made at everyone’s expense, but at the same time there doesn’t seem to be an understanding that punching down is a thing that’s frowned on in comedy partially because it creates bad ripple effects. You can say whatever you want, but if you use offensive language you are going to make racist, sexist and homophobic people feel a hell of a lot more comfortable using that language openly. It doesn’t create this behavior, but it enables it. There is a difference between when you’e with queer friends and you jokingly call each other gay and when someone screams it in a drive by catcall, and creators outside of those marginalized communities don’t get that they’re enabling the bigots, not those being harassed.
I'm always a bit taken aback when people try to make the excuse that something was just 'an edgy joke' so it couldn't be offensive/negatively affect people. just because you say something with the intent to be funny doesn't mean it can't be super fucked up and harmful... or just not funny. also don't most jokes need punchlines? i fail to see what the punchline is behind just dropping slurs randomly into your sentences. anyway good video hope one day you have a morbillion subs.
Okay so tellin critical to “stay out of peoples business” just because he’s not the same color as you, is wrong. You’re completely invalidating everything he’s said, every single point he made, and why..? Just because he’s not the same race as you..? That’s just down right wrong and quite frankly, sad. Everyone should have the right to speak on a topic. And no one should be made to feel excluded from the conversation just because oh, there not the same color as me so they don’t deserve to have an opinion on the subject. Like how far have we regressed as a society whenever you’re telling people they don’t deserve to be able to voice their opinion on a subject just because of the color of their skin…?
talking about the situation is one thing, trying to invalidate the feelings of people who were actually affected by what Ian did is another thing. and yeah i do feel like he should stay out of black folk's business. and so should you bestie
@@ItsJustArin excuse me ma’am…? My father is black, thank you very much. And so just because Ian invalidated peoples feelings however many years ago, makes it okay for you to invalidate Charlie’s feelings…? Rightttt, okay, got it.
@@winkydinky1436 maybe because I don’t like racist scumbags like this waste of space judging people and invalidating them and their opinions, Just because they aren’t the same color as you. That’s garbage. that’s what trashy, no good people do. No one should ever be made to feel like their opinion is not valid just because the color of their skin. Isn’t that what Martin Luther King fought for? That’s just flat out racism. And ima call it like I see it. I don’t wanna hear “oh, she can’t be racist because she’s black🤡” either. That’s just BS. Every human being has the capability of being racist. It don’t matter what color your skin is. That’s just a weak ahh excuse to be a horrible, racist person.
smacc like if you also know when to mind your own business
