Yeah and people will justify these sites by saying "but these sites expose bad people" Yes they do expose some bad people but most of them are innocent trans, neurodivergent, etc they harass for being different. A lot on kiwifarms is antisemitism, transphobia, the site was founded by a pdfile. They just arent worth having around because its not healthy to have a site that harasses you for some made up transgression or they will make up a reason ti justify harassing them. Also if we have a whole site dedicated to being the ones "exposing" people who will be the ones to expose the obes doing the exposing? Because we all know the site is biased to prefer their own and won't call them out.

What I find the most disgusting about this community is that they pick-on people who are CLEARLY autistic and/or mentally unwell. That's really showing you the bar for who they deem acceptable to harass and e-stalk.

i have a strong hate of these kind of "trolls", these acts had lead most of the time bad people to do worse things, and a LOT of times these people do indeed need help. they are nothing but a circus act where the viewers throw peanuts at them to see how they would react after these "characters" has died, went to prison or left the internet they were simply discarded and a new character was found to be messed with. i do not feel bad for most of these people now but i do had empathy of them before.

They are simply failures who are not good at anything in life except harassing people who are not like them (queers/pocs). The few times I visited that site, I wasn't disgusted by their comments, but rather I was sorry that they were comfortable with this way of life; miserable, hateful and unwilling to accept change. They are mostly cowards, they certainly can't express their true opinions in public without getting punched in the face. Heck, even judgemental stares from the people passing by can make their body shake of anxiety.

lolcow culture is the most sadistic, terminally online thing that somehow people just completely normalize without ever thinking about how insane they look to a normal person there are many lolcows who are bad people, who deserve criticism if not a complete removal from their platform or even a prison stay. however, many lolcows dont actually have any of these issues, theyre mocked purely for the way in which they behave outside of the norm. this also bleeds into genuine cases, wherein discussion about genuinely harmful things are intertwined with petty insults and meaningless bullying, sometimes to the point that the lolcow in question becomes more known for being 'cringe' than their actual awful behavior. i remember looking at a forum for someone, as i couldnt find anywhere else that actually compiled all of her actions and even had sources. while i was satisfied to have found a spot to see all the actual weird shit with my eyes, the threads were FILLED with things that made me feel slimy just being there- deadnaming, misgendering, slurs, bodyshaming, ableism. while trying to find any information about how she interacted with fans or about strange things in her work, id find people calling her the t slur and mocking her mental illness, it was a mess lolcow culture is nothing more than a modern day freakshow founded online with an undercurrent of bullying the disabled kids in elementary school. the horrible people included under the term deserve criticism and to be taken seriously, but the lolcow branding turns everything into a joke, and often results in people feeding directly into these folks, to the point some become even worse than they were originally. people become spectacles, they only exist to be entertainment, and their every move becomes a joke to point at, let them be someone worth examination or someone whos merely weird in a harmless way as a fat autistic trans dude, lolcow culture is terrifying and maddening in the same breath. it makes the concept of more online attention horrifying out of fear that i become a target for being unmasked and open, and it so deeply angers me how many people have been reduced to jokes who either deserve more founded scrutiny or did nothing at all. theres no positive to be found unique to the culture, anything legit can be done elsewhere with more genuine intent. and the fact that its so hard to find even a shred of anyone talking about it makes me feel all the more insane, i shouldnt have to wade through a see of turkey toms and willymacshows just to find someone who sees through all this shit
