    Love your vids, man. Great taste in music and the tabs are an immense help for those of us trying to learn, as well (though my Epiphone can't handle most of the Kill the Flaw tunings). This is my favorite cut off the new album and you nailed it! Keep up the awesome work.

    awesome song off the album. just wondering if you think they used a whammy bar for the chorus. i think you know which bit im talking about

      +shabztar123 The verse has an obvious whammy dive. It's too perfect to be a bar, I mean it could be, but they're most likely using a whammy pedal which they use a lot on Kill The Flaw and Black Out The Sun. BotS has entire guitar tracks with whammy on it which is why some songs have such a weird tone. I don't have a whammy pedal so I have to make due without it.

      +MysticGuitar77 ive seen people push forward their guitar bolt on necks to add relief to get a small whammy effect but no way thatd work haha. oh well. sounds aweome though

      +shabztar123 Too bad only my Ibanez's are bolt-on's haha. I'd get me a whammy pedal but they're really expensive. The Digitech one everybody uses is $300 and I refuse to spend that much on one pedal when I can get a decent guitar for that. :p

    Does clint use a whammy bar in the prechorus?

    • @MysticGuitar77

      +wjveryzer7985 Most likely a whammy pedal.

    Hey man, what do you prefer more for low tunings like Drop A#: a baritone or a regular guitar with 25'5 scale?

    • @MysticGuitar77
      @MysticGuitar77  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      +Samurai Stan Baritone because you don't need as big a string gauge to get down to lower tunings as you would a regular guitar.

    • @StanSinitsky

      +MysticGuitar77 so 11-56 gauge would be OK for Drop A# on a baritone?

    • @MysticGuitar77
      @MysticGuitar77  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      +Samurai Stan Yep, that's the gauge I use for my Schecter, but keep in mind, it doesn't have a full baritone scale length either, it's in between (26.5"). The larger the scale length, the lighter gauge you'd have to use because otherwise the strings will be too tight.
