Oh I know I'd love to have gotten some night shots, but it was a bit of a hike getting to this garden from my place and coming BACK again for a dusk shot was just too tricky the juggle of other things that week. I'll def try and do it for other gardens, especially those with beautiful lighting :-)
Some really good design ideas for such a small space..... and the use of 'borrowed landscape' through the fence is so clever. I'm planning to build an aviary about half the size of their garden next season and think their stone steps with groundcovers look like something I should include!
Love everything about the garden especially the use of ground covers and the thoughtful concealment of the drain. Borrowing the landscape from the park is 👌 Thanks for the presentation.
I like it when people make something out of such small spaces. I would look forward at how itwill look a few years into the future, when plants have grown and everything doesn't look new anymore. It seems like the 3D software can show - an important feature for such a program, show maturing and aging. This is far better than people cramming indoor stuff, kitchen, pool, sofa or even TV outside into their garden.
It can invade, but it's not super weedy in Melbourne. It's more likely to smother other low, soft groundcovers but for anything taller than 20cm it won't be a problem
It would be lovely to see this in a few years when some of the plants are more established ❤
Wow, that before and after is really dramatic! Kudos to the designers.
It’s cool isn’t it! They’ve done a great job in such a tiny space
Love watching your tours. Would have loved to have seen some night shots to show the lighting.

So much to like about this one. Very clever. The ground cover blend looks so natural & happy.
Thanks so much 😊 Glad you enjoyed the garden tour

Yeah talk about borrowed landscape hey! So lucky to have such a big green space to call part of their backyard 💚
So many good ideas and looks great - love watching your tours
Thanks so much for letting me know :-)

Such a good use of groundcovers isn't it! Just beautiful :-)
Fabulous landscape design and execution 👍💚
Glad you enjoyed it - thanks for watching :-)

Really nice design - contemporary but not sterile. The rammed earth wall looks a lot like stoney concrete to me 😊
That's the perfect way to describe it! I'm not sure on the rammed earth wall material - I was just told "rammed earth" sorry ;-)
Obscured fencing is great as is the ground cover. Lots to love here. Thanks for the video.
Clever design technique isn't it with the fencing! Thanks for watching and glad you enjoyed the video :-)
I find the dichondra is inclined to invade garden beds like a weed.
