swirls are hard right up until they are not.. lol... i look at my cup on its painting rod and pick a spot at the very bottom (technically the bottom of the cup but the 'top' as it is upside down on a paint rod) and start my spray painting there and slowly spin/spray around and down the cup until i end up at the top of the cup and i try to start and stop almost to where they line up on the cup.. so when i am done if you look at the spot i started my paint at the bottom of the cup, where i stopped my swirl is almost even with that point .. i dont know if am explaining it to where that makes sense but if not, let me know i a will do a mini video and tag you.. lol!!!
Definitely give it a try. I don't think it ever really 100% becomes not sticky but you don't have to wait long to be able to move on with life. Mod Podge you've got to wait 5-10 minutes or longer before you can do anything whereas with spray adhesive you spray your cup with the spray adhesive, you walk across your house to your glitter room, you add your glitter and then you walk back to your garage, hit it immediately with another run of spray adhesive, go back to your glitter room, add a second color or second coat go back to your garage, hit it with spray sealer and you're done. Lol! That's why I loved it, you don't have to wait, you don't have to mess with it, you don't have to worry whether or not it's set or going to goop up or whatever, you literally spray it like you would spray paint in just a light coat and then you are good to go. You have a totally glittered cup and on your rack ready to go to epoxy in just a couple of minutes.
