Hey man I thought your last video was fine. You were to the point sharing your opinion on something that IS happening in this community. Good on ya for clearing the air and elaborating on your opinions and standing by them.
Have no issues with last video. Your opinions and thoughts are your own. Good for you in encouraging the discussion. I agree with you. It’s something that needs to be done. Way more in our world today. God bless!
Hello. This video has motivated me to subscribe. By the way I did not watch the other video and I won't do that. But I deeply respect you for this one. Yes, nobody can claim to be the owner of the ultimate truth. I have learned that the human mind makes projections about the future that most of the time never become real. And I agree that the discussion culture has decreased during the recent 20 years. I think that humans identify with mental concepts so much that they feel offended. Opinions are not the problem but the identification with them If someone has good arguments, I change it. That's all. Greetings. Matthias
discussion/Discourse is a dying process in the current world. I was always told if you come up with a problem don't just leave it there provide an answer and I see the similarities. On TH-cam its to easy to make comments and with the keyboard warriors as you have highlighted. Debating a subject of interest is great so long as it doesn't get to heated, but yea I agree you learn things not only of the subject but also of the person. Keep going, to many channels have closed down because of negativity and keyboard warriors thinking they know best.
The panic buying on small batches, new releases, or soon to be discontinued blends drives me insane honestly. I understand building a cellar or wanting to try something new but I think it's a dick move to buy 5-10 tins or pounds and pounds of something you've never tried, not even giving a chance for others to try or buy it. Even if it's something I'm not interested in, it seems inconsiderate. Oh well
So i had a fellow freaking out about small batch blends on my last video. Claiming i had commented on the subject and that i was an idiot. Then he deleted his comments. I was pretty sure i hadn't ever said anything about small batches but i searched his channel name and comments and i came up with your video. I think he got us confused. Ive been timberdrifter online for 15+ years. Hello to another timber😊. You are causing me problems man! Na , im kidding, keep doing your thing. Take care.
I appreciate the discourse and agree that pipe smoking encourages it. Our little quiet slow down time is great for discussion. I think that as millennials take up pipe smoking, we're gonna see more of this kind of hype. We overreact to things like "rage bait" or company closures, but pipe smoking is a bit slower of a hobby. Fomo is part of millennia culture too, so maybe we'll see something come of the fomo/pipe tobacco intersection. I'm here for it. Personally, the STG crap (I'm not a fan of giant corporations) will encourage local craft blenders to spin things up. One tobacco plant can grow like three ounces of tobacco, and one other tobacco plant can grow thousands of tobacco seeds... Stuff to think on. I see books on your shelf. What do you do for work?
Software, yuck. I don't speak computer 😂 Theology and books mostly for show is something I can get on with! My mom gave me a small book by Louis Berkhoff today that I'm looking forward to going through.
@ 😂 Very cool. I haven’t ready any of his works, but have listened to a number of lectures by a Greg Bahnsen who’s a little downstream that I’ve really enjoyed.
@@nglpos oh come on, he emailed me and enjoyed the video. Don't be upset about it when he isn't. You've been leaving sassy whiny comments for over a week 🤣
Thanks for the shout out! Love the video and can’t wait for the future videos to come!
Amen brother. Discourse makes the world go round, and it’s why things are falling flat. Keep it up
Appreciate it

Yeah, I have no intention of stopping content. Appreciate the words and you watching, thank you!

Yeah, it’s a real interesting trend

Many are for show 🤣 I enjoy reading/studying theology and woodworking on the side, but work in software

There's a lot of children smoking pipes.
People might actually explode on sight if they watch your videos. Viewer discretion advised 😂
@@TimberSmokeCo I get tons of hate. They don't actually use critical thinking and often don't even watch the whole video before leaving dumb comments.
@@MillennialCodgerCritical thinking is a fading art… People think with their feelings instead.
Should we all grow up and make videos lampooning people for the way they speak?
