- In video 38 of this 'Police Promotion Success' series, I discuss strategic thinking. This is an essential difference when aspiring to the Inspecting ranks, albeit the CVF defines both the Sergeant and Inspector / Chief Inspector all at 'Level 2'. I provide here a PESTLE tool to help aid your preparation, particularly relevant to preparing for common presentation scenarios within interviews. E.g. "How will you lead through the challenges facing this force?"

I cover it in the video from 10:45, a screenshot at 11:03 when I hold up my bespoke infographic will also give you the key points in context of policing.
