I nought a un expensive test kit when i went to use it on 2008 acadia air was coming out of overflow canister not letting get pressure

So how much coolant comes out every time you drain the system? The system holds almost 12 quarts I believe. So if you don't get at least six quarts out you're never going to get a 50% coolant mixture when you pour straight concentrate cooling in during the final step.

When adding new coolant, do you turn on the vehicle and have the heater at full blast and with the resavour cap off?
