Super cute calf. Always amazes me how gentle a Jersey cow can be and all Jersey Bulls are total nut cases. AI is the best way to go with dairy cows. We are wet also, but temperatures are in the 60's and 70's.

I hear you about the long dark winters, I live on 4o acres with woods stream and fields and garden in the warm months and think we're all in the same boat on this planet, grew up in "the big city" but through the grace of God escaped to the Forest for I still have the wild gene and feel at home with all my wildlife friends.
