A classic case of you get what you pay for. In this case, it's terms of materials, workmanship and contractors/engineers. Those cells must have been reclaimed from BYD electric vehicles for sure. Assuming the battery is even as advertised i.e. 14.4Kwh, pulling 11Kw at a nominal 48V dc implies demanding 300A from the battery. If we consider conversion losses the current drawn from the battery at 11Kw AC will be more 300A (that's more than 1C) so even a genuine and high quality battery will struggle, will not last or (preferably) short down to protect the cells and minimise fire risks. Your calculations are wrong, 11kw of Ac load running on 230vac inverter will pull 229amps of Dc current... The BMS can only handle 100amps. Please ensure you do your calculations well before passing misleading informations. As for the cells I believe you were not there while the batteries are been manufactured hence you can't tell if they are repurposed cells or not. As for your clients setup. He needs a battery bank that can handle 250-300amps of current irrespective of the fact that he only needs 1hr of backup time. Once again please work on your basic physics calculations
From your comment you did not watch the video. Watch it again and you will sound more knowledgeable. I don't need to be there (that is the kind of backward thinking I see in Nigeria) when the battery is assembled. They are repurposed cells. Watch my videos from 2017/2018. We worked with these EV cells.
But your calculations were wrong.. just admit it... Just like saying 1amp of ac current is equivalent to 1amp of Dc current whereby they aren't working on same voltage value
Your clients load is 11kw running on 230vac that means you want to draw 229amps from a 48vdc battery bank that has a maximum discharge current of 100amps and you expect magic. Please learn to distinguish ac discharge current from DC discharge current. It can only be possible of the BMS of the said battery can handle UpTo 230amps.

All the batteries sold in Nigeria are grade C or worse batteries. This is why they are sold at such lower price and only sold in Nigeria. You will never find them sold in the USA.
African Energy Distribute the Weco 5K3 XP Dual Voltage Battery in Abuja. They are excellent value for money!!
Thank you for watching and commenting. I disagree about your blanket comment on batteries. You get what you pay for.
@@drsolar have you worked with EG4 batteries ?
@@caniceonuoha no I have not. I am very particular about who I use.
@@caniceonuoha they are your run of the mill copy and paste inverters and batteries. There's a video online showing an the company bought from and had their logo slapped on.

Yohako folks have woken up today. If you watched the video tell us what is false. In the video I showed the cells and they are clearly used EV cells.
Oga if I may ask, what will you gain in doing this?how much did they pay you to defame your fellow man's Business, how much?and what will you gain?
You knew very well that YOHAKO is a very nice PRODUCT,

Estead of you to be useful to yourself with something good, you are here spoiling your fellow Man's EFFORT,

This is defamatory .
Thanks for watching and commenting. Please tell us what is defamatory in the video. Did you watch it?
@@dagboman watch the video and point to the specific calculation that I did that is wrong.
