    That's harder than it looks, at 62 it brings me back 40+ years when I used to fly. There's something about control line especially being up close where the action is right in your face. Having that direct feel, pull from the plane, make you engage with it in a powerful way. Fantastic job flying!!

      When it looks easy it is done with great skill. John B was a top UK pilot.

    I'm just now trying to learn the pattern for the first time, this video was very helpful, I have the overhead 8's on paper but it really helps to see how you enter and finish, The Four leaf clover is is no longer black magic. I know this was posted a long time ago but it has turned on the light for a couple of the maneuvers, Thanks.

    Wow that was amazing, When I was around 10 - 11 yr old I brought a Control line Kiel Kraft Balsa wood model and ran a small Diesel in it, It gave me many hours of fun, I couldn't do any tricks, I did try but my control wires got crossed and I had a few out of control landings/crash's, lol, I really enjoyed your video.

    I use the Saito FA-56 myself but for RC not CL. It's just a great little engine, over-square so it has its own note. Has been out of production for years, these days they make the FA-62. Glow is out of fashion but it's still great, higher specific power, and Saito engines are excellent especially for the price compared to others. Light and powerful, run great.

    Très beau vol F 2 B.
    Quelques petites différences de hauteur dans les bases à plat .
    45° un petit peu haut chevauchent central dans les huit à plat.
    Mais vol très coule et armonieux

    I hate the sound of a 4-stroke. RIP John.

    • @bernardw4842
      @bernardw4842 6 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Really? As opposed to what, a 2-stroke? That seems to put you in the minority view-point. Why, does it sound less aggressive to you or what is it? Personally I can't stand small screaming 2-strokes, and the big ones sound so unlike a plane and more like a chainsaw. Most ppl seem to say they prefer the 4-stroke sound (if they've actually compared both), so i'm curious why you don't

    • @daveday5507
      @daveday5507 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I make a personal statement, you make a personal statement. You justify yours.

    • @bernardw4842
      @bernardw4842 6 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      No I'm just curious, what is it about the sound you don't like, I'm interested to hear why, and what type of engine has the sound you like best. As to why I think the opposite is the usual view, it's because I read some of the RC engines forums particularly for Saito, and it just seems to be the more popular POV by numbers alone. Not saying either is right or wrong, because as you say it's simply personal opinion, I've just seen more people say they like the 4c sound so I'm interested in your reasons why you don't. I've heard some 3D flyers say they prefer their big 2 strokes for example because they are into that style of flight where they are popular
